Beautiful hotel, great views and even in the pool you can see down to the river and a cross to the vines. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly. The house cat knows how to relax and once here it is easy to join in and chill out. Big underground garage of the road for free parking.

Communication with owner was super quick, he was very helpful. The facilities at the house were amazing - there was food and bottles of water ready for us to use, we were able to do washings (detergent was in the house), the bathroom was stacked with supplies and all rooms were provided with aircons. The house itself was really clean, and the location was perfect, everything was walking distance. Can't say anything else but great value for the money spent! Would definitely come back here.

This is such a nice hotel in a beautiful location close to Pinhao (walking distance). The view over Douro river is breathtaking and the different facilities so nicely renovated. The breakfast one of the best I have ever had and the dinner restaurant served super good food - no need to eat in the village. Stay at the hotel and enjoy the facility, the view and the great food. Of course the wines are excellent and also - to our surprise - the beer.

Everything was perfect , a very comfortable room with everything you could possibly need. Exceptionally clean. A welcoming host and a very delicious breakfast delivered to the room .     Quaint little town on the Doura Valley. It's built on a fairly steep hill, so bring your walking shoes! Good choice of restaurants (although check opening times). Lots of river based attractions (cruises) along with wine (port) tasting. If you don't like port or watery things avoid.

    The town is busy during the day with tourists but quiet in the evening. The town is a bit shabby but very pleasant. The restaurants finish serving meals in the evening very early. The food in the restaurants was wholesome with large portions

    Take the train from Porto, relax and enjoy the view along the way. Pinhão is a laid back 'Village' in the stunningly beautiful Douro Valley. I have been before and it hasn't lost its charm. Pinhão provides convenient access to Port Lodges in the vicinity without the need for a car for transportation. Safe Home & Hurry Back, that's what I say!

    Douro Tour group was great.

    Douro Tour group was great. Recommend the all day Douro Valley tour with boat ride, lunch, wine and port tastings, vineyard tours. It is an easy walk from Quinta Rosa to Pinhão. On our own, also went to olive oil museum tour which had olive oil and wine tastings overlooking stunning views. Walked back throughthe vineyards.

    I loved the small town feeling but yet everything you need...

    I loved the small town feeling but yet everything you need was right there - supermarket and a great variety of restaurants. I loved the walking and of course the Festival de Foclore was an added bonus. Would love to return for the grape picking season in September- I heard it’s great craic

    Small town/village right on the river.

    Small town/village right on the river. See,s to be the go to destination for boats moving up and down the river. Great central location for vinyards and touring around. Some of the views in the wine valley nearby are truly spectactular. A great place to stay two night as part of a tour.

    Really clean and cozy appartement in the middle of Pinhão, most things are within walking distance. Amazing breakfast with all home made cakes and marmelades that tasted amazing. The hostess was really lovely and caring, making scrambled eggs on request for everyone staying. Even though they could not speak English she did everything to bond over breakfast using a translation app, which felt very welcoming. Really new apartment for an unbelievable price. Would definitely recommend booking when visiting the Douro valley!

    This is by far the best hostel I've ever been to. The hosts are extremely friendly, helpful and generous. The whole place is super clean and quiet. The rooftop terrasse is a great place to enjoy the evening, and Pinhão makes for the perfect base camp to stay for several days to explore the whole region. Highly recommended for travelers of all ages.

    Our stay at Suite Nunes was absolutely wonderful… the room is lovely and clean and had everything we needed! The pool was a huge benefit during the 2 nights we were in Pinhao because it was boiling! And the view from the pool was soooo lovely! No complaints! We hope we will be back one day!

    The hotel is a nice old Winery with an authentic feeling. The view is amazing and the pool is great to relax. The staff was very friendly and supportive.As the hotel is a 15 min drive away from Pinhao, we ate at the hotel and the food was very good.

    It's like a friend asking you to move into their house and care for their cat. But there's no cat. Clean, new, well equipped, river view, pictures are true, my first choice if I ever get back to to Pinhao
