Hotel receptionists and staff were all very courteous, made the stay very comfortable. On the departure day they provided breakfast box because I was leaving before start time for breakfast. Amazingly hospitable people. Rooms were neat and clean. Internet worked well throughout. Free parking outside was often available, and indoor parking at a charge. Peaceful locality, right in front of the beach. Brilliant, calming view from gallery for the sea-facing rooms. Public transport also nearby. Continente and Lidl stores nearby.

Instead of the two stars the hotel is incredible. The rooms are cleaned every day, the towels are changed every day. The cleaners, the receptionist and the waiters are very friendly and funny. Next time we will chose this hotel again. :-D

Fabulous place, right on the sea front, 2 minutes walk from the train station. Antonio, the owner is a pure gentleman and could not be more helpful. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is spotlessly clean with fantastic facilities. I cannot say enough good things about my Casa.

Very spacious flat, amazing living room, 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms, equipped with everything you need. Very clean and customer service was quick to answer. We had an issue with the Internet when we arrived but they tried everything to solve it asap. General nice flat, good location and highly recommended.

Amazingly clean and cousy place very close to Porto. It is not in front of the beach, but it is extremely close to it. We really had the beach-holiday feeling when walking around the nicely modern renovated appartment/house, which had all the facilities you may need. The contact with the property manager was open and smooth, and he gave us good indications to park, move around or whatever we needed. We were with 4 adults and 5 teenagers and the place was big enough to feel fine. We would certainly repeat. The train station is at one stone-throw and it is the best and cheap option to go to Porto. In Espinho itself there are many little shops, also worthwhile to visit.

    Espinho is about 40 mins taxi from airport. It’s a Lovely quiet coastal city. Beautiful beaches and boardwalks for miles. Lovely restaurants in Espinho. Everything is easy to access- train to Porto very regular and so cheap also. Only takes about 30 mins.

    Espinho has a lovely long stretch of white-sand beach.

    Espinho has a lovely long stretch of white-sand beach. It's a very relaxed town, not very touristy. It's less than 30 minutes away from central Porto (by Uber) - and Uber is not too expensive (about €10). Espinho has a market every Monday. We checked it out, and I was blown away by how huge it is. They sell absolutely everything - from clothes to thousands of shoes, to household items, to food, and (unfortunately) live animals. But the level of English is pretty low, so practice your Portuguese, and bring cash. Then relax at the beach bar at the end of the day to watch the sunset - with a cold Super Bock, of course.

    Espinho beach is a long, sandy, surf lovers beach.

    Espinho beach is a long, sandy, surf lovers beach. The city is the third most expensive real estate in Portugal because of the beach and the casino. You can find free parking in many places, and it’s easily accessible for surfers. Good restaurants and cafes along the promenade and beautiful place to watch a sunset. Only thing missing is a good contemporary art gallery which they really should start focusing on because of the clientele and general beauty of the place.

    Espinho is small & quiet.

    Espinho is small & quiet. Option for beach walks or public transport into Porto. Good shops close to the beach, need to look for restaurants that can be tucked away. Some wonderful accommodation which was helpful to get to know the area.

    Incredible apartment which is out of expectation. What I want to say is u don't have to worry about anything of choosing to stay here. Espinho is a small town. But 19 suits has everything u need plus the wonderful location. We killed time at Aipal bakery everyday downstairs at our breakfast and coffee break. Walking distance to most of the restaurants and beach. Very quiet and neat rooms with the great terrace. Thanks for the best service from Ricardo. Will stay here again when we visit.

    We loved the pool & spa facilities. The breakfast was lovely and amazing views of the beach. The family suite was perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids. On Sunday evening we struggled to find a restaurant open for dinner, so the hotel staff allowed us to bring a takeaway in to enjoy at the bar!
