We had a wonderful time at this charming hotel. The location is calm and scenic, perfect for relaxing and exploring the area in peace. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and well-maintained – you can really feel the care in every detail. What made the experience truly special was the exceptionally kind and welcoming owner (father and son). We felt instantly at home and truly cared for. Highly recommended for anyone looking for tranquility, comfort, and genuine hospitality. We would love to return!

Stunning 3 bedroom 3 storey property with the most beautiful sea views. Upside down living which places the huge living room/kitchen and balcony on the top floor. Beautifully designed and decorated . Just like a 5 star boutique hotel. The pool is just perfect… private and safe for the kids. Worth every penny. 300/400 meters from the beach and 150 meters from the centre of Alvor with access to dozens of amazing restaurants. Book it now…. You will not be disappointed!!!

Stunning views from the rooftop patio. Great location, 10 minute walk from the beach. Endless restaurants and local shops with all the necessities a block away, but still quiet enough that you didn’t hear anything at night. Alvor is the perfect laid back spot to vacation. We loved Rooftop Alvor. The coffee and cookies were a nice touch and Sofie was always available if we needed anything. The rooms were smaller, but had everything you needed.

The property was truly unique and was located in the most picturesque part of Alvor. Every room is tastefully and practically appointed. The owners thought of everything including beach towels. When we arrived the owner presented us with sandwiches, pastries, wine and water. Thank you so much! It would be a joy to return in the future!

I find it hard to leave home sometimes because it’s kind of hard to beat, but Skylight Alvor was just perfect! Loved the amount of space and the decor. Also loved the rooftop terrace & pool! There was great communication with the owners throughout and they left such a lovely treat to welcome us!

the hotel is a low raise building nearly on the beach, just a short work along the boardwalk, breakfast is more suited for Europeans than British however all was good. very good for families as there's a few pools with loungers the village is approx 20 minutes away on foot, 5 minute taxi ride.

Very helpful and personable receptionist. We had a sea view apartment, but came well equipped kitchenette. It is a 20 minute walk to Alvor Village and a short walk to the beach. The hotel also has an indoor/outdoor pool, sauna and gym with plenty of parking and a convenient store nearby

Great hotel, large bedrooms with a great balcony. The swimming pool and outside facilities were great plenty of space and sun loungers. A good 15 mins walk into alvor centre, but we didn't mind that, also a great free bus ran regularly to and from the beach , Friendly staff :-)

Staff were really helpful. The room was spotlessly clean. The hotel was further from the town than i would have liked but close to the beach. We walked in on the boardwalk. It was on the edge of the beach. Took us approximately 35 mins to reach Alvor.

First time staying at Pestana Alvor Praia. Brilliant location, staff were very helpful & helpful. The beach is amazing & only a short stroll from the hotel. Less than an 1hr to the airport which was great. Definitely will be back.

Wonderful aparthotel. Mod so clean & spacious. Room with seaview & balcony so spacious. Toiletries very good. Nice touch nespresso machine and water in room. Absolutely love the beauty of Alvor. Cant wait to return.
