Practically everything. Especially the fact that everything match descriptions and photos. Also instructions were very clear and additional info (like room nr and lock box code) was on time. Fresh air. Despite significant sunshine, the room didn't heat up too much. Also I was happy that no insects was around and I could keep windows open the whole time. Place is almost outside of city, yet not too far. It was possible to rent a bike but it was pretty comfortable to explore the peninsula by foot.

    We travel to Hel every year with my family.

    We travel to Hel every year with my family. The beaches are clean, the sea fresh, beautiful area full of forrests, ideal also for bike rides. There is a brilliant (possibly educational) walk all around the beach, wheelchair and stroller friendly from which you can see both the sea, local flora, read about Hel and watch a sunsent on the bench. Plenty of fresh smoked fish, shrimp, also local resaraurants are great. Plenty of activities for children including exotic butterfly exposition, many museums and seal rescue.

    Hel peninsula helps you slow down and relax.

    Hel peninsula helps you slow down and relax. There is a lot to discover. The town of Hel with fishermen musem and fokarium. Military fortresses hidden in the forests with the both military and ethnographic exhibitions. Boat trips to Gdynia and Gdansk. It is better to use car as little as possible, there is only one road with quite a lot traffic. Foot, bicycle, train and ships are better options. Some travellers may find place too cold, but that is Baltic sea.

    The host is clearly a creative person, there are great ideas, like the pool, hammocks and bbq areas as well as bike rental- we loved the cycling and Hel is perfect to move around on bike! Good with children. The kitchenette is small but provides everything to cook or store food.

    It has a homely feel, with the owners living downstairs and always being there to assist the guests. There are rooms with kitchens available as well as communal kitchens on each floor. The location is great, you can just park your car and explore Hel on foot or on a bicycle. The

    Location, interior are pretty cool, hotel is new, a lot of things are projected for comfort: kitchenware, hairdryer, dishwasher etc. Sauna option during autumn and winter is the best option :) Nice experience!
