We were just travelling through Piura on our way to Lima. We only stayed one night. I do not know much about the area, but we got in after dark and still were able to order food on PedidosYa and get money out at an ATM. The pool is clean and refreshing in the heat and you can have drinks and snacks beside the pool. We are digital nomads and the wifi was excellent for our needs, including uploading video.
