The hospitality was outstanding, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The food was also great, both dinner and breakfast offered great variety and delicious flavors, perfect after a day of adventure. Stargazing at night was magical, with the clear desert sky filled with countless stars—a truly mesmerizing experience. During the day, the thrill of dune bashing was an absolute adrenaline rush, adding excitement to the tranquility of the desert. This place is so beautiful. The garden created such relaxing atmosphere. The playground was the highlight for our kids. The bed was comfortable and we got an additional mattress too. The staff was really helpful. There was quite a space in the back yard to hang our laundry. We drove to the nearby sand dune in the evening. The view was fantastic and there was enough sand for the kids.

Stars Gate Camp is the go to if you’re visiting Wahiba Sands! It’s located on a dune, so you’ll have a nice view from your room, not like the other camps in the valley. The camps has just a few tents, which makes it more private. The tents are very modern, you will have everything you need. It has even an excellent WiFi, but your 5G works as well. Dinner and breakfast are included in the price, both are buffet style, delicious and can accommodate vegetarians as well.

We were warmly welcomed and Saeed was a great host. The authentic camp was very well presented and the attention to detail was amazing (small decorations well blended into the whole picture). The additional drive through the dunes with sunset watching was very fun and Saeed was again very thoughtful (prepared some bedouin coffee on a wood fire for the sunset watching). We finished the day with a bedouin meal which they prepared on a fire right in front of us. We got to know the omani people as very welcoming and this experience confirmed it again. Thank you!

Everything was amazing, just remove your shoes and enjoy walking in the sand. Perfect place for watching sunset from sand dunes nearby. Bathroom is outside the tent, water was almost boiling during the day time, but after sunset got colder which make sense since u are in the desert. Love the common area with oriental carpet and pillows. Food was really nice. Staff was all the time smiling and helpful. Camp offer transfer and a lot of activities.

The villa was stunning — exactly as shown in the photos. It was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-designed, with a peaceful ambiance that made our stay truly relaxing.
