Not having a car meant I couldn't go outwith Taupo. The boat trip to see rhe Rock Carvings was well worth it. Haka Falls was walk able but due to the heavy rain I couldn't do it. Taupo has a lot to do in and around town. I like it there and it seems like there’s a lot of family activities. A lot of runners and cyclists.
