First, Mel and Glenn-- they're so nice, so very accommodating, sat with us by a lovely fire pit overlooking their expansive valley view and talked about their family, domestic and farm animals, and hobbies, while we shared our stories and the horror that the US has become in one short month before we began asking about NZ emigration procedures! After nightfall, Glenn pointed out the Southern Cross and Milky Way and we headed inside as we had an early morning. Our room was large, the beds comfortable, and there were many fun snacks to munch on, which we tried not to eat but hey, vacation is for trying new things, right? Sorry if sheets were filled with crumbs, Mel, and thanks for everything!

The receptionist was nice and let us in an hour early which helped as we were very tired. It was very spacious and clean with easy access.

Panorama Motor Inn is just 5 minutes’ drive from Te Kuiti Train Station. A kitchenette or kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator is standard in some rooms.

The room was very clean, warm and the beds very comfortable. Reception was a little hard to find straight away, A bush covers the sign. The restaurant was very clean and the food was amazing, well worth a dine in. When we arrived we were greeted by the most friendly lady. She couldn't do enough for us, Any questions we had she took her time in answering them & assisted us with anything we needed. Thank you to her she made our visit very memorable. The place is only a short drive out of town.

This was the best property we stayed in on our 2 week road trip around Nth Island of NZ. And we stayed at some posh places (5 Star, etc.). Blown away with this farm stay. Such a lovely people. Great location, very good beds! Friendly staff and nice breakfast. The lady brought hot chocolate for our kids on arrival. Across the street you can at Huku, not so good but easy nearby. Closes at 8pm.
