What a beautiful place! Amazing view from the room. It's very quiet and peaceful to stay here, getting completely relaxed with a great bottle of wine. The room is extremely clean and spacious. The bed feels like heaven. The staff is so friendly and professional. Thank you so much for the amazing breakfast it was the best!

Beautiful clean house only 10-15 minutes walk from the city center. Quiet location, close to Pak n Save store. The lady at the reception is incredibly nice and helpful. Our room was clean, had a fridge, table, kettle, even an ironing board and iron. The bathroom was beautiful, clean. Wifi worked great throughout the property. We felt very comfortable.

Very spacious living area and kitchen. Kitchen pantry was complete, we did not have to buy any condiments or spices. Heater provided in the bathroom and rooms. Charging cables in the bedrooms is a gem!

The house is located in a central area of the city, with a small garden and lots of sunlight. Everything is new and extremely clean. Beds are very comfortable and the neighborhood is very quiet, so it is possible to truly rest. The house has first and second floor, with one room and toilet in each floor. The rooms are quite big, as well the bathrooms. Kitchen is very well equiped, and there is a good supermarket under 10 minutes walking. I recommend this house!

Boutique Hotel, excellent bar and restaurant, good complimentary breakfast - not like the normal plastic-wrapped offering common in motels. Governors Bay is a beautiful location with plenty of walking tracks nearby. Great Kiwi hospitality which is fast disappearing elsewhere in Aotearoa New Zealand.

The hotel looked over the bay and was excellent in being close to Lyttelton and the Banks Peninsula. The room was very quiet, sunny and welcoming having been refurbished to contemporary standards. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was almost new, fresh and clean. Parking was easy. I would definitely book again in the future.

Breakfast was continental and help yourself and that was fine for me. I loved the front garden seating area under umbrellas. Loved the view from the front balcony and the sounds of fantails flitting around. Just loved waking up in Governors Bay really.

We loved our stay at Otoromiro Hotel! The staff were so lovely, the food was excellent, and the room and facilities were lovely and clean also. We will definitely be back one day for a longer stay :)
