The people that work there in the island are very genuine and polite and helpful, always smiling. They make your time there very pleasant. Don’t forget to tip them. It's a 50 minute flight by Sea Plane from Male and absolutely worth it. The variety of fish when snorkelling, no bugs whatsoever. Stunning beaches. I would go there again in a heart beat. We did the half day excursion that includes visiting Tsunami Island, Dolphin watching, Snorkelling at a gorgeous Reef and a nice little lunch. Worth it! We also went to the H2O Restaurant (not sure if you can only do that if you stay at the Me & You Maldives Hotel). It's expensive but worth every penny. Furaveri Maldives is set in a fabulous location, offering a perfect escape to switch off and tap into your creativity. The staff were fantastic throughout my stay, always attentive and making sure everything ran smoothly. However, I did encounter an issue with the all-inclusive offer, which changed between the time I booked and when I arrived. This was disappointing, especially considering that there are several other islands in the Maldives, many of which I have visited, that offer a much better overall experience. Furaveri island was very clean, rustic and they did their best to be environmentally friendly. Beaches were as good as any I have seen in the Maldives and were cleaned better than most.
