Personnel was extremely nice and helpful and focused on individual guests. Room was super clean at top level. Special thanks to our room attendant Deepa. We felt really taken care of. An additional plus was free boat trips to a nearby island and a glassbottom boat.

A very cozy and friendly small family hotel. The rooms have everything you need. Good breakfast. But it’s better to come by rented car, since the town is not big and apart from a beach holiday, there is nothing else to do.

Everything. The location is quiet, there’s a place to safely park the rental car. We had a huge apartment with two amazing terraces. The little things - nice smell of the sheets, enough outlets on convenient places, anti-mosquito devices, fan and enough shade in the apartment, lots of storage space. The hostess is more than kind, she made sure we have everything we need and gave us a lot of suggestions.

From arrival to stay until departure, all the support and suggestions. I liked everything. It is a place to make your base to explore the eastern part of the island. Andrea is an amazing host, he is super kind and helpful. He will get you the best deals, best suggestions, and best tips to explore the island. The house is super clean, pool is amazing. The area is peaceful. It is a perfect spot to rest, relax, and if you want adventures--just ask Andrea and he will organise it :) I'd love to come back and stay again at his property. It is a nice place for a solo travellers to a family of four to a couple. Just read the past reviews and give it a try, you'll experience it yourself. Grazie mille, Andrea for all your tips and organisation. I highly recommend Andrea's place.

The communication before arrival and the warm welcome from the host Ashok were excellent. The apartment is spacious, clean and tidy. Everything you would expect from a rented apartment is provided including a fully equipped kitchen; even more: fruit on the table, cold water and beer in the fridge, as well as a nespresso machine and capsules. Beaches and restaurants are nearby. Absolute value for money.

Villa Bella is located in a very calm neigbourhood, and has all the accomodations one needs. Every amenity in the kitchen, fruit as a welcome gift, a washing machine with powder ready, a TV, etc.. The house is extremely clean, and all the rooms very spacious. The beds were made with clean sheets, no bugs anywhere, everything was perfect. We were very lucky to be the only hosts there, and had the entire property and swimming pool to ourselves. The people (Marco, Angelique the owner, even the neighbours) were all extraodinary in helping us adjust to Mauritius and the life there. We could always count on somebody to help us out, whether it was Angelique via the chat on booking, or Marco who lives not far at all from the property. The beach is only 5min away by car, and is gorgeous. It's the perfect place for people who like a calm environment but not far from shops, beaches etc. You need a car but that is to be expected in Mauritius. PS: the wifi is extremely good at the Villa, better than in a lot of hotels where I stayed.

    A bit beaten town, lots of drunks and abandoned houses. There are some nice restaurants around (Chez Tino, Green Island Beach Restaurant) and places to visit (Île aux Cerfs, GRSE waterfall), but overall not to stay for too long.

    The village is charming, easy to go on the boat to other islands. I recommend a visit to Ile aux Cerf, you can relax or do some sport e.g waterski, swimming. By boat to GRSE Waterfall. Take a BBQ lunch to one of the other island there.

    It is a great location to see traditional Mauritian life.

    It is a great location to see traditional Mauritian life. A few minutes bus ride is the unspoilt beach at Palmar. It is the best beach we have seen on the island. The reef is close to shore and the water is crystal clear.

    From staff to location, it was perfect from start to finish. The Mauritian staff were all so welcoming, friendly and very professional- nothing was too much. The beach was amazing - as too were the selection of great restaurants. From sunset drinks to beach bbqs to amazing evening band and singers in the atmospheric bar/lounge, we could not have asked for more. The beach front rooms were very spacious and with such comfortable beds and cloud-like pillows. We have stayed in several hotels on the island - thus ranks top, in our opinion.

    This is a great place to stay, best price-quality ratio. The hotel staff is super nice and willing to help you with any request you may have - special thanks goes to the guys from the bar, restaurant, front desk and the cleaning team. Food was amazing. The resort has an astonishing beach. It´s not easy to describe in words how welcomed and comfortable we felt. Highly recommendable. Again, thanks a lot for everything!

    The hospitality of Jessica and her sisters was the best during our stay. The rooms were very clean and serviced daily. It is a small family boutique hotel with lovely hosts. We definetly recommend the place for families or couples. It is very close to the famous islands with white sand beaches and boat tours.
