We were at the Banyan tree bubble which really secluded in the heart of a huge banyan tree - it was magical experience, especially in the morning being awaken by the songs of hundreds if not thousands of birds (although at 5 AM :) ). Food was great, bubles have all the comforts you need. You had constantly a buttler at a disposal to mov you around the island. At night there are only the people in the 4 bubbles plus the security so it is pretty much an exclusive island for 8 people.

We had a wonderful stay! The beach and hotel grounds were beautiful, and the service was excellent. The Plantation Restaurant was amazing and absolutely delicious. We loved the free water sports and the kids club had lots of daily activities. Everything was perfect—we’ll definitely be back!

What a lovely little adults-only hotel! Comfy bed, attentive staff, spectacular lunch every day at the little van round the side of the restaurant. The pool is in a perfect sheltered spot because it was exceptionally windy (that's the East in May for you) and the beach was not an option. Although just a 10/15 minute walk further around the coast and Trou d'eau Douce beach was much more calm. There is an awesome little shop with some really good options for mementoes or gifts. Staff of course were just wonderful - even the guy we thought of as 'grumpy barman' until we got to know him lol. The spa is gorgeous - do yourself a favour and get a treatment there (just avoid nail treatments, it's not their strong suit). Scrub and massages were to die for.

Veranda Palamar Beach Hotel is the best choice in terms of value for money on the whole island of Mauritius. Nice and clean room, lovely yard, amazing beach, very tasty food and outstanding staff. I don't know the basis of some negative reviews about this hotel. If they want more luxury, they should go to the more expensive neighboring Lux Belle Mare, but there the price is completely different. And I'm not sure they'll get that much more. In Veranda you have the feeling of calmness, security and an almost homely atmosphere, which is missing in big hotels. Thank you dear people for our wonderful holiday.

The resort was perfect, above our expectation, the staff is incredible, they are kind and helped us with recommendation on what to do beside the resorts.
