The staff was simply amazing. We had previously booked at a different place nearby and we was extremely disappointed. Our taxi driver told us about Aanari and they were kind enough to accommodate us at the very last moment and made us feel so comfortable. A great guy, Nathan who is an employee at Aanari Hotel was kind enough to navigate us through the country! Bonus points just because Flic en Flac Beach is just opposite the road with many food outlets and ATM's plus the bar at night is such a vibe.

It was a lovely 4 days trip in this place. The room is clean and have all the facilities you need. The location is great, few minutes walk to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. The hosts are super nice and very helpful. I'll definitely choose to stay here again if I come back to Mauritius.

This apartment was a fantastic find - fresh, stylish and fully equipped with everything you need: Smart TV, strong Wi-Fi, hairdryer, iron, microwave, and more. Perfectly located with just a 2-minute walk from the pleasant beach. What truly makes this place special is the owners. They were always ready to help with anything we needed, giving tips, incredibly kind, and respectful of our privacy. Their kindness and hospitality truly showed us the warm spirit of Mauritius. After exploring the entire island, we found Flic-en-Flac to be the best spot to stay, with great beaches, plenty of entertainment, shops, and easy access to amazing sights like Le Morne, the 7 Cascades, and Black River Gorges. We’re so glad we chose this apartment - it played a big role in making our trip unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Clean and spacious place. You can park just in front of the door. It’s a very quiet place and the is a baobab tree nearby. Hi speed internet, comfortable beds, washing machine, etc. Everything looks perfect and new. Ketan, the host, is very friendly and helpful. No doubt one of the best places to stay in Mauritius.

    Walking on the beach was fun, and the water allowed easy swimming even for the not-so-strong swimmer. The food carts added restaurant variety. We had good meals at Bouganvillea and Chez Pepe, but also enjoyed eating in and watching the sunset. Lovely shopping, interesting people, and the public bus service worked for us. However, it was interesting that the same trip was free outbound and then cost 100 rupees (3 people) for the return trip (with no tickets issued).

    Flic'en'Flac is the best place to stay on Mauritius, especially if you're visiting Mauritius in July. North was windy, south rainy but west side just perfect. It is a nice, vaste sandy beach with pine trees and palm trees, nice hotels and resorts, bars, restaurants and street food.

    We liked our chosen accommodation, we had a good view of the beach from our balcony, the staff were great and we want to go back to sample lunch at the Creole Shack! The beach was lovely and safe for swimming and there was a good variety of eateries from beach stalls to high end restaurants and all manner of cuisines. Everything is in walking distance and four km in land there is a very large mall being built and a new state of the art hospital. We will definitely be going back.

    Good vibe, nice restaurants, felt safe, fantastic snorkeling opportunities from the beach, convenient shopping mall at Cascavelle for groceries, etc. Proximity to Tamarin to catch catamaran trip. As a family of 5 we rented a car, which worked out very well. Taxis are expensive if you want to get around with 5 people, simply to do shopping, etc.

    Very pretty beach for a swim or picnic, parking can be tricky so if you see a spot take it :), the sand is soft but there is some coral on the beach and water if you have sensitive feet pack some water shoes. Lovely location for a swim and relax.

    Flic-en-Flac offers not a fancy stay, but congenial, friendly, and economical environment. Swimming in the ocean or taking a mile long running along the shore allows visitors to stay in good health while traveling. This is one of the very rare spot visitors get to mingle with Mauritian residents more closely, unlike in other fancy hotels. FNF is relatively a residents' beach retreat with great sunset scene.

    We liked the idea of visiting Mauritius and were very keen to stay at the Anelia, but unfortunately the Mauritian authorities prevented our cruise ship from docking for two days and instead of staying at the Anelia we spent two days viewing Mauritius from off-shore. To be fare the Hotel Manager would have allowed us to slip our reservation, but the return flights could not be moved. Therefore we missed out on the opportunity of staying at the Anelia, although it looked to be a very attractive location.

    The apartment is located just 1 min. from the beach and well equipped, and perfectly clean. The pool is well maintained. Several restaurants are within a 5 min. walk, very authentic restaurants for Indian, Chinese and Mauritian food. A rental car is recommended to explore Mauritius. Parking is available just behind the apartment. Kurt and Rose are very nice people and take care on all your needs. I can definitely recommend this apartment. We spent 9 nights there.

    Highly recommend Villa Osumare. Being our first time in Mauritius it was perfect for our needs - a comfortable, clean, air-conditioned room with a healthy breakfast to start the day. Flic en Flac and this Villa is great as a home base to explore the island. Friendly and welcoming, free wi-fi, short walk to beach, safe parking for our hire car. Lovely pool to dip in after a long day seeing all the little towns/beaches Google Maps took us through.

    Apartment had everything we needed to live comfortably during our time in Mauritius. Owner has done a good job in modernising this property. Salem is a very helpful guy, willing to go the extra mile to ensure your needs are catered for! Likewise his staff are on point! All very friendly and helpful!

    The apartment is located pretty close to the beach and is well furnished and clean. The host as well is also pretty understanding and helpful. Should definitely book your stay if you are in Flic en Flac Mauritius.
