Rabat is now one of my favourite capital cities.

Rabat is now one of my favourite capital cities. It has a great mix of ancient medina/kasbah and French city planning with wide boulevards and shaded arcades. There is much to do and see. Rich culture and well cared for environment.

Rabat gets a poor showing in tourist guides and recommendations but I adore the place. I've been there five times now and will be going back again soon. It definitely off the main tourist trail and not overloaded with monuments but the atmosphere is very tranquil and friendly. By Moroccan standards it's clean and orderly with beautiful gardens and a great beach and shoreline with the Bouregreg separating it from its twin but much older sister town Sale with its traditional ambience and modest understated feel. Rabat is big enough to call itself a city (it is the capital after all) but friendly and homely enough to have the air of a provincial town. It is a safe place to be and prices are fixed and fair so there is no having to haggle or lohg unpleasant faces and scowls if you decide not to buy something. People are friendly and hospitable and it has some great places for home cooking!

Rabat is very clean and smell fresh every day.

Rabat is very clean and smell fresh every day. The people are humble, smart and respectful. I got my food from restaurants and supermarkets. Moving around was not difficult because of so many taxis and the tram train coupled with well lit streets at night.

Loved Rabat, would recommend no more that 3-4 days.

Loved Rabat, would recommend no more that 3-4 days. People lovely and very helpful. Very good Capital city. If you like to have a alcoholic drink in the evening highly recommend 'UPSTAIRS' pub and food was absolutely delicious, we had there 2 nights. Local cafes were excellant.

    Great weather.

Great weather. Lots to see and do and a lot within walking distance of each other. The attractions I went to were free as well which is an added bonus. The buses and trams are an affordable way of getting around. All air conditioned the WiFi on them not the strongest but e sims easily obtainable at very affordable prices. Locals helpful even when language a barrier. As a lone woman traveling I felt safe.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Riad is located in a very quiet side street in the middle of the old Medina. So you are in the middle of the place where you need to be! You can walk easliy to everything were you need to go as a tourist. The hospatlity is absolute Champions League level. Very friendly and helpful and make you feel at home straight away. Breakfast was very delicious aswell. Futhermore we loved the furnishings and design in the Riad. You really feel you are in Morocco. If we come back to Rabat we will stay here again for sure!

It was a very a good stay. I spent a quick night there during our Morocco trip. It is a small hotel, with a small attached restaurant. The rooms are very well decorated, quite, comfortable, and very clean. We appreciated the air-conditioning, as it was really cold outside, and the room was warm and cozy with the heating. Breakfast was outstanding, it was classic Moroccan buffet breakfast, all items were fresh and tasty, and the staff were friendly and courteous.

Excellent luxury hotel in the center of Rabat. Marble and woods, all in Maroccan style. We liked everything in there from checking in to checking out. We've got an upgrade for two rooms to suites, that was really nice. There were also complimentary welcome sweets and fruits. The breakfast was top notch, and we also tried some snacks in the bar-restourant that were very good.

I was arriving easily. Without difficulties finding the location. And I was received warmly by the host with a lovely cup of tea. The breakfast was great, and the host really friendly. I will gladly come back in my next trip to Morocco. For sure is a great place to stay if you’re in Rabat.

Combined the character of a traditional Riad with the comfort of a luxury boutique hotel. The location in the madina was perfect for us and Rabat was a very engaging city to explore with a mix of new and old. Plus easy access to great beaches.
