The owner and her family are such warm people that made us feel truly welcome. The food at the hotel was great! The hotel itself was close to the park, and had a very zen feel. The hotel has only been open for 3 months so everything was brand new. We booked a safari with the hotel and this was great as well, with an amazing breakfast to go. We would recommend it to everyone!

Getting to Ceylon Wilpattu safaris & lodging feels like entering the forest: the road is a bit narrow and bumpy, but when you get to the entrance you discover a very well-kept garden and very pleasant facilities. The warm welcome from Roshan, his wife and the staff was truly pleasant: they supported our requests promptly and kindly. We had dinner at the property, hosted in a cool veranda. The food had been adapted to Western tastes but always maintaining the typical flavors of Sri Lankan cuisine: excellent dinner. Breakfast was also rich and pleasant. The rooms are in bungalows in which rest is ensured by spotty clean and reasonably spacious rooms, immersed in a very quiet and pleasant place. Complimentary water bottles are also available in the fridge in the room. This property is highly recommended.

In short, Just Epic in every aspect. The location and the environment is beautiful, calm and clean. There is so much to walk and explore. The villas are surrounded by nature, they are spacious, clean and very accommodating. The food is extremely good. Most importantly, the hospitality is off the charts. Overall the experience was exceptional. I recommend this place to any locals or foreigners who are looking to explore the Puttalam & Kalpitiya area. Would definitely visit this place again.

I had an incredible stay at Tribe Wilpattu Eco Lodge and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wilpattu National Park! This place is all about it's people. Roshan and his family go above and beyond to make your stay special. The food, all locally sourced and home made, is an experience in itself. Roshan also arranged the Safari for us, with a very experienced driver. Sandmal, our driver is very good at spotting animals. We saw leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and many other animals and birds during our full day Safari. Do take a quick walk down to the secret tranquil lake for an amazing sunset view.
