Tangalle is a hidden gem!
Tangalle is a hidden gem! So many wonderful beaches around the town. I stayed by the Goyambokka beach but preferred the neighbouring Silent beach, which was longer and so beautiful. The town has very little to offer.
The town has very little to offer. It’s a noisy, chaotic typical Sri Lankan town. The only redeeming factor was Silent Beach on the Western side of town. We also enjoyed a nice meal at Cactus Lounge.Guest review byCornelisSpain

It's a olace where your soul can take Rest! No tv but nature as the best tv ever! If you're licky, you can see turtle hatching oder laying eggs at the beach! Because it's the last Hotel, and after you have only nature, it's sooo calm and nice...so your soul can take a real rest! If you feel you ned people around you walk along the beach to tangalle...within around 30min you'll be there...on the way find fanrastic shells everywhere... Not much restaurants close by, but hotel has very good restaurant so you don't even need others. They will arrange you tuktuk if you want to go to Tangalle etc. Room was very clean and bed was good to sleep, also every room has big terrace/balcony.
