The Tara Waterfall has a nice view to the tea fields and up to the Waterfall, really stunning in the middle of nowhere. If you want silence and avoid from too much hectic and tourism (like in Ella) this is the right spot! Their service was very kind, too :-)

Absolutely unique place. I have been working in Sri Lanka for ten years now and every two to three months I need a reboot from the heat and bustle in the cooler climate. We tried many places in the mountains and seem to have found what we need: complete silence, away from the crowd, a “million dollars” view from the balcony (read your book while sitting in bean bag), a waterfall with a pond next to where you find yourself in an Indiana Jones movie (must get to the upper pond) and an very hospitable host. Yes, it's a bit off the beaten track, but it's worth it. Despite minor shortcomings and certain simplicity in the arrangement of rooms, everything is made with excellent taste and fantasy. Great homemade coffee, amazing grilled chicken, cherry tomatoes from their own garden and a personal touch. Couldn't expect more. I'll be back:)

Beautifully situated, among the jungle and a garden embedded in it. We arrived quite late, but despite this they waited for us and offered us dinner! The caretaker of the facility is a very nice gentleman who cares a lot about the well-being of his guests. The guesthouse is decorated in a uniform style that matches the surroundings. Every detail is thought out. The rooms are spotlessly clean, always with a view of the jungle (some, like ours, also have a balcony). In the morning we had a delicious breakfast - fruit and a chosen form of egg. It was a sufficient portion for us. In addition, coffee / tea / juice. It was wonderful for us to wake up in such surroundings and start the day like this. Although the monkeys jumped on the roof of our building, it was an additional attraction for us. I would like to visit such places more often. Hidden gems with excellent service.

I recently had the most unforgettable experience at Belihuloya Adventure Camp! Tucked away in the lush highlands of Sri Lanka, this camp is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. We've accommodated in hotel sanctuary last week. It was very clean and attractive.The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and well organized.The pool area was fantastic, to have fun.The hotel keeper was very friendly and helpful.The hotel owner was the same. The meals were really delicious.We could enjoy the scenic beauty of rakwana mountains right from the hotel.That accomodation package was very reasonable for the payed price.I recommend this place for people, who are expecting a perfect stay near Rakwana.
