Staff were really nice and helpful. During our stay my mom got an injury and the support provided by the staff were really good. Krishna at the Amutham restaurant were really helpful. I don’t remember the names of the others who helped, but big thanks to everyone.

It is a nice and quiet modern hotel with good facilities. The room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed and pillows. There is a fridge in the room and and tea making facilities in the lounge area outside the room. We were given two small bottles of water on arrival. The shower works well with good hot water, once you get it adjusted properly. There is a shower screen too, but like all bathrooms in Sri Lanka the bathroom floor still gets wet. The air conditioner works well and the room also has a large ceiling fan. The hotel is well located just 1.6 kilometers from Jaffna Fort and about a kilometre from the rooftop bar at the Jaffna Jetwing Hotel. Breakfast was not included but is available, we did not have breakfast at the hotel. All in all a good place to stay.

Highly recommended Subhas Hotel which is located at a centralized location in Jaffna town. All the places we wanted to visit including our favourite restaurants, railway station, liquor shops, places for worship, supermarkets etc are in walking distance away. Good staff. Worth the money.
