In one word perfect! It’s a little hustle to get to the accomodation. But when you’re there bathiya will do everything to make you feel welcome. From a little walk through his garden to the amazing dinner he will provide for you. We even did 2 little safari’s in his jeep and he will tell you everything he knows about the animals and nature. When we go to Sri Lanka again, we defenitely will come back here!

This place is the definition of a getaway. truly remote. Never thought I'd experience this side of Sri Lanka on this holiday. Very nature based, local food, got to speak to the people in the villages on how they cultivate their crops, went on a very scenic bike ride with friends in the evening with the best views. The RIVER! wow loved every bit of it. We spent around 3 hours here and had a final dip before leaving the next day too. The water flowing over the shoulders felt like a free spa treatment.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was the ideal place to relax and recharge after the buzz of Arugam Bay, and a great base for a day trip to explore Ella. The place was spotlessly clean and super comfortable – we felt right at home. The hosts were so kind and helpful, offering tuk tuk services and even giving us clear pricing for transport andl tours. They also asked us each evening what we’d like for breakfast – such a lovely touch – and it was always fresh and delicious. The facilities were great, the vibe was peaceful, and we couldn’t fault a thing. Highly recommend if you want something welcoming, clean, and well-run!

What a beautiful hotel in the mountains of Ella! The pool is the highlight of the whole place and its quiet and clean. If you want to relax a few days, this is the place to be. You can’t walk to Ella town, but with a TukTuk its around 3000 LKR (more or less 8-9€) They have a good restaurant and its not expensive as others say here. The prices are the same in Ella town if you eat western food. The breakfast was pricy but very good. The employees were all nice and helpfull from the recption to the restaurant! Perfect spot for a couple of nights, especially as when we arrived we were both a little unwell! Clean and comfortable rooms, with a large basket of fruit on arrival. A stream ran down past our room, full of local wildlife. They arranged for us to have a lift - with our tandem - up to Bibile to continue our journey. We will be back to stay again in the future.
