This was the most memorable stay on my Japan trip. The host was very lovely and welcoming. The chef prepared maybe the best vegan meals I’ve had on this trip. And, of course, the tea served with meals is excellent! I even tried the hot tea bath that was available each night. Also, the host has lived in the US so you don’t need to worry about a language barrier. I didn’t get to do the tea tours that were offered because I’d already booked one with Obubu Tea Farms, but will definitely take them up on the offer next time. If I’m ever back in the area, I will stay again!

It was a really nice place, with really nice staff, and an really good atmosphere. Even though we got a no cleaning service room, the hotel overall was always kept clean. The location was also perfect for exploring both Nara as well as several smaller cities and areas around Nara.

Amazing hotel. Great staff, very large room, with all the high-end accesorizes you could ask. The hotel is in a great location, near Nara's national park and main street. The breakfest is full traditional Japanese style- amazing experiance (and if you dont like it, there's a Sturbucks near by)
