Great location, very close to the train station. Super cute house with great facilities. The air conditioning worked very well in the summer heat. The owner was very friendly and helpful, they gave thorough and clear instructions at the beginning of our stay.

The view from the outdoor bath tub is absolutely gorgeous! Magical! The house is clean and simple but has all the amenities to feel comfortable and at home. The host/owner was very responsive, provided good recommendations for places to go and things to eat. He personally visited us and gave us his home-made wine too. So sweet and thoughtful! A place we will come back to stay again.

Old house with not simply vintage style but real details. Love all the furniture and the wood stove at first sight. Nobu welcomed us with some nice herbal tea. She speaks fluent English and we had some nice conversations. She also recommended and gave us a ride to a nice public bath. What we cherished most is the special visit to Mr. Kawanaka, the local artist. It’s our pleasure to meet him and appreciate his artwork. Truly memorable journey. Thank you!

This place is suitable for those going to the Ishida Maruyama-Hatsuka Ishi. You need to reserve a private bath time for 30 minutes per room, but if there are fewer people, you can arrange to use it during unreserved times. A bath after skiing feels very comfortable. There is no lift here, which makes carrying luggage a bit inconvenient.
