There’s a convenience store on the first floor, and the hotel is very close to Sakae Station (just a short walk from the exit). The room is reasonably clean and has everything you need. I recommend it for anyone looking to explore Sakae.

Enjoyed our side trip to inuyama castle - easy to get to by local train. Also a good trip to Atsuta Jingu Shrine. If you take a train on the Meitetsu Nagoya main line and get off at Jingumae station, an entrance to the shrine is just across the road from the station. (Main road, but there are pedestrian crossings). Didn't leave much time to explore Nagoya itself. Did get to Osu mall, which was quite interesting, but a little over-hyped we thought. Area round station itself was good compared with many cities - much more salubrious and more like being in a reasonably upmarket commercial/shopping area. Could certainly have happily spent another full day in Nagoya if our schedule had allowed.

Such a beautiful city. Surrounding burbs Awesome!

Such a beautiful city. Surrounding burbs Awesome! Put like this. Prada, Gucci, Lois Vitton, Armani, the list long. Why go to hectic Tokyo when Nagoya offers all the rich city life without the intensity of Tokyo. I was highly impressed. I have travelled a great deal. I liked this city better than New York, Chicago, Atlanta, LA. So beautiful, easy to navigate, wonderful to walk around. Surrounding burbs so beautiful! One last thought, all the US cities listed are dirty, trash laden, crime filled destinations. New York smells like a sewer, scaffolding that NEVER ENDS, piles of trash at night, a nighmare. I don't see this in Japan.

Nagoya is a really nice city, very easy to get around and much less crowded than the other big cities. There are a number of things to do such as, visit the huge planetarium, the Tokugawa gardens, the Noritake museum to see the beautiful ceramics. There are also Ghibli Park and Legoland for families and the castle is lovely. From Nagoya there is easy access to many other places such as Takeyama and Shirakawago.

Nagoya is a treasure for eating and shopping.

Nagoya is a treasure for eating and shopping. LOTS of great restaurants. There's the science museum, the Toyota museum, and Nagoya Castle. No "authentic" neighborhoods to explore, though there is an ethnic shopping street near Kamimaezu Station. There are lots of traditional Japanese coffee shops "kissaten" to relax in if that's your thing. If you venture away from downtown there are places like Shirotori Gardens or Arimatsu on the historical Tokaido Road which was a center of indigo dyeing. No restaurants though in the 800 m length of the neighborhood.

Unsure of what to expect but the city is full of life.

Unsure of what to expect but the city is full of life. Amazing shopping in Osu Shotengai District, the castle, the food options (as in most if Japan), Kako Coffee House ogura toast (long queue but yummy) and most delicious sake I tried was in Nagoya. Only stayed for one full day really but very enjoyable. (Also hosts some of the sumo matches! Didn't even have time to visit the Science Museum...

We love everything about the hotel! Fantastic location, right next to a 7-11 and steps away from subway station, 3 stops to Nagoya station, and close to bus stops for places we would like to visit. The design of the room is great. Super comfortable bed and pillows. We stayed in 3 different locations during this trip, and this one is the best for us in terms of comfort level. The bath was great too with indoors and outdoors area. Bonus with Dyson hair dryer 😍 Breakfast has a huge variety and very delicious.

This hotel is not easy to find - the entrance is almost concealed - but it is very close to Nagoya station. There are no public rooms at all and the reception area is small and cramped. The rooms are small too - but that is normal in Japan - and perfectly adequate for one or two nights' stay. Nothing exceptional but good value for money.

The hotel was a short pleasant walk from the train station. Our room was very comfortable. The staff are amazing and happy to help. A staff member assisted us track a lost phone at Haneda airport and arrange for us to collect it when we went back to Tokyo. The hotel was very clean and well organised. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for one night before travelling to the airport, so was exactly what we needed for that. Clean and comfortable rooms (although small, but felt the photos were accurate so what we expected!) and conveniently close to the Nagoya train station, and the malls on that road for shopping and dining.

It locates very close to Nagoya station to which you have direct access from the airport. And there are rental car stations near the hotel too. It is one of the best hotels for tourists who need easy access to trains / airlines / cars.
