The onsen town of Yugawara is a delight.
The onsen town of Yugawara is a delight. Rent bikes or scooters at the friendly Tourist Info office at the train station. Super sights like shrines and a bird-friendly river cascading through town with a fury during snow melt, sakura groves, and hills covered with trees. Some expensive dining options, a few inexpensive ones. The day-use onsen Kogomen o yu is less that ten US dollars a day and the outdoor baths (men and women separate) is lovely.Guest review byReneeUnited States
