Everything about Fujikawaguchiko is just perfect. Nice town, beautiful view of Mt Fuji. For an outdoor enthusiast, this town is perfect. The place was amazing. The people of Fujikawaguchiko were friendly and helpful. The landscape and nature was beautiful. From biking around the lake, walking to the waterfall and hiking on the trails it was wonderful. This place is awesome, i had a wonderful hiking to Mt. Fuji. It's a worth experience in my life. The other places like Oshino Hakai village, Chureito Pagoda are beautiful. Great city but only for a couple of days.
Great city but only for a couple of days. The lake was very nice. A lot of people go for hiking to the fuji mountain but we didn't. There is not a lot to do in the city if you don't plan any activities but still the view of the mountain was worth it. Have in mind that the mountain wasn't visible for the first 2 days we only saw it the last day before leaving as it was very cloudy and we were told that the mountain is only visible about 90 days of the year so have that in mind.Guest review byPanayiotisCyprus

There is also a hop on hop off tourist bus that you can use to get around all the tourist spots, one of the stops is by the gemstone museum which is 2 mins walk from the hotel, which was perfect!Guest review byRosieNew Zealand

We walked into the town, a lively 20 min walk by the lake then used a day bus pass to travel on the different routes around the North side of the lake.
