I had an amazing experience at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable — everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect, close to key attractions but still peaceful and quiet at night. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety, and the restaurant/bar had a great atmosphere. I also loved the little touches — from the cozy lobby to the attention to detail in the service. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort, style, and great service. I will definitely be coming back!

Brand new hotel, beautiful and clean rooms with luxurious bathrooms. The hallways smelled really nice and it was very quiet. They had big flat screen tvs in the room with netflix/disney+/hulu/etc. The breakfast was enjoyable. Overall a very comfortable and safe place to stay.

Mr. Umberto in the front desk was an absolute legend. He made sure I got everything I needed, was very helpful in every single aspect and his recommendations for every activity was spot on; the restaurants he recommended were absolutely magnificent, the areas to visit were fabulous and the gelato shop he recommended might have been the very best I have ever tried. He knew the city very well and was very helpful in guiding me in my stay. Mr. Carlo was also very helpful when I asked him about different tours and spared no knowledge and effort in explaining the locations and approriate attire. Unfortunately I only met Mr Carlo once during my stay. Overall the place was very pleasant in a very nice location.

    A lot to see!

A lot to see! Vatican and Capitoline Museum hosting most famous pieces of art (and other ones present everywhere), famous ancient ruins reminding of the history of Europe, great nightlife in vibrant roman streets full of pizzerias, gelaterias, brasserias. Also amazing nature of surrounding areas as well as sunny beach in Ostia at a distance of 30 mins by relatively cheap train :)

Rome is an unforgettable city, full of history, art, and...

Rome is an unforgettable city, full of history, art, and atmosphere. Walking through the streets feels like stepping into an open-air museum — with ancient ruins, Baroque fountains, and Renaissance palaces at almost every corner. The highlights such as the Colosseum, the Vatican, Piazza Navona, and the Pantheon are truly breathtaking, but even wandering aimlessly through small streets can be magical. The food is another highlight — from classic pasta dishes to coffee bars and gelato, everything feels authentic and vibrant. At the same time, Rome can be overwhelming. The city is busy, with lots of tourists, traffic, and noise. Popular sights often mean long queues, so planning ahead is essential. The public transport system is convenient but can be crowded, and walking requires patience with cobblestones and chaotic crossings. Overall, Rome offers a unique and powerful experience: a mix of ancient history, living culture, and modern energy. It’s not the most relaxing city, but for anyone interested in history, art, and Italian life, it’s absolutely worth visiting — at least once in a lifetime.

Our colosseum and forum tour was great, the Vatican tour rushed and poor value for money. Restaurants and food great but choose carefully as on the main squares can be more expensive and not as good. Break up tours with rest days just strolling the districts and sights as they were our best days. We found locals friendly and helpful. You will be pestered to buy flowers scarfs belts and you will be lucky to escape without getting caught at least once! Take precautions against pick pockets. We were lucky but had phones on cords, bags in front of us and money belts.

We got robbed. Be aware of pickpockets in buses and trains.

We got robbed. Be aware of pickpockets in buses and trains. Also, if you buy something from a street vendor, make sure you first receive the stuff; otherwise, they will run away with your money. The city is beautiful, but Italians should work on their customer service skills. We felt like we were bothering them, even though we were spending a lot of money on their places.

Beautiful spacious room, so nice to come back to the room after spending the day exploring the city. The bed is also very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and gave us ideas what to do, transport to take etc. The breakfast was excellent! With staff clearing your plate and cutlery and giving you new ones after each helping. My husband and I loved this hotel! We stayed 3 nights and then returned for another 4 nights after traveling to the Cinque Terre region of Italy. The hotel was in a perfect location - the Aventino area is quiet, green, and about a 15 minute walk from the busy sights of Rome. (It is up a hill so be aware of that.) Our room (#830) was beautiful with a huge patio. Breakfast in the courtyard surrounded by orange trees was divine. We will always return to this hotel.

We had a wonderful weekend in Rome! It's a family hotel with very friendly and helpful hostesses - Francesca and her mother. The hotel offers stylish and comfortable rooms equipped with everything you need: a fridge, a kettle, a TV. The bed is very comfortable, and the area is quiet. I especially want to mention the delicious homemade breakfast with eggs, yogurt, ham, pastries and coffee, which is quite diverse for Italy. I highly recommend staying at this hotel👍

With my long association with Booking.com, this is the first time I felt let down.
