Pienza is a beautiful village, the Val d'Orcia is breathtaking. We were welcomed by Paola, who is a magnificent ambassador for the property, she really made us feel incredibly welcome. The restaurant was also excellent, we had a fantastic dinner. We came off season, (March) which added to the tranquility. I think you would come here to enjoy a quiet, peaceful retreat, and it is a nice base to explore the Tuscan wine region.

We really enjoyed our stay, the room was clean and big enough for a couple. There wasn't much of a view but I suppose other rooms have better view, depending on one's budget. We had dinner one night and the chicken with roasted potatoes was really good. We were able to check in 45 minutes earlier which was nice.

    Pienza is a fantastic hilltop town with wonderful views over the Val D'Orcia valley. It has wonderful streets, restaurants, and historical sites to explore. My morning coffee and croissant in Piazza Magiore will stay in my memory for a long time. You have to go back there and basta :)

    It was perfect.

    It was perfect. Cinzia was amazing always checking in to see if everything was ok and if I need anything. Kitchen was well equipped with everything I needed . Bedroom and bathroom were comfortable. The garden was beautiful so tranquil could never hear the outside noise of the tourists. Sitting in the garden was very relaxing.It was right in the heart of Pienza. Would definitely come back . Thank you once again Cinzia for an amazing stay and making me feel at home . 🥰

    We loved Pienza and walking around the walled city.

    We loved Pienza and walking around the walled city. There were a number of excellent restaurants with beautiful views of the Tuscan Hills. We returned to Pienza from Poggio Salto each night for dinner...it was easy to get to and always a great experience.

    Pienza is one of the most beautiful small towns in Tuscany . The views surrounding the town are breathtaking and mesmerising! Lots of great places for coffee and dinner . It’s mostly on the flat too so unlike other nearby towns it’s very easy to get around .

    Our stay at Agriturismo Palazzi del Papa was quite lovely.

    Our stay at Agriturismo Palazzi del Papa was quite lovely. It is located in an area easily driveable to Montalcino, Pienza and Montepulciano, in Val d"Orcia, a beautiful Tuscan area. These small hilltop medieval towns offer a glimpse back in time and are surrounded by rolling, open land. a car is needed, but the drives are short from this location. Sabrina and her staff were wonderful and her morning breakfast "spread" was beautifully, even artistically, presented and satisfying. She even arrange a free wine-tasting in Montalcino, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

    Slower pace, charming location, incredible sitghts and views around every corner. Don't miss Buon Gusto Gelato. It is incredible! Best pizza at Le 5 Lune Restaurant and Plummaro. Don't miss the views and sunsets.

    Absolutely great place! The best stay in our 2 week journey across Italy. Everything was just perfect! Dinner in the garden overlooking sunset was unforgettable. Views are fantastic! May be just one thing - breacfast basket contained only some "plastic" food, nothing local, in my opinion it is better not to serve it at all, because everyone travelling in Tuscany have bags full of fresh Tuscany food right from market, so it was a bit unnecessary.

    This hotel was absolutely perfect, from the beautiful room to the breathtaking views of the Tuscan hills, the beautiful outdoor site with pool and comfortable lounge chairs, we simply did not want to leave. The sunset there was out of this world, breakfast was great and the location was very convenient. This is the best hotel we've stayed at in Italy and will definitely come back.

    AMAZING! The property, the land and buildings, are what one would imagine when thinking about Tuscany. Beautiful and spacious room in a castle close to Pienza. The grounds/gardens and views are beautifully. Breakfast is fresh and lovely with many options. This is served at another location which you can drive or walk to, we walked.

    The Relais il Chiostro Di Pienza is a stunning, old building with charming character and amazing scenery. It is suited to couples but has a family feel too - such friendly staff. Peaceful and behind the scenes - everything runs like clockwork. We have visited since 2013 - we love Pienza and wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

    L’Angolo di Pienza was an excellent place to stay the room was very comfortable and clean. It is well situated when visiting Pienza. The host was extremely helpful and there is a lovely coffee shop just beside the hotel.
