The access roads very steep which needed advising. The hotel needs some signage further in the village to help finding them. Sat nav gets confused. The room walls too thin and you can hear much from next door rooms. Reception not manned for us to check out. Rang their bell but waited over 10 minutes, then ignored while signed for a delivery and answer a phone call. Poor service. Service at breakfast and evening meal very good but a bit spoilt by two large groups dominating the room, a bit hard for the waiting staff. The Sanctuary was right next to the hotel and we were taught that there is an elevator in the hotel that takes us directly to the floor of the cave inside the sanctuary. We were able to use that elevator several times to enter the sanctuary during our stay. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was big. Super well located, at the heart of the city, surrounded by lots of restaurants. The rooms are spacious and clean. My room had a beautiful view of the chapel, which made my stay extra magical.
