We stayed in Framura so as to visit the Cinque Terre (not Framura as such). We felt the Cinque Terre to be over-rated and very expensive and with lots of unnecessary complexity about tickets for trains in and even having to pay for walks. We went elsewhere for our third full day in the area. We did really enjoy one walk and the time in Vernazza but not Monterosso. Good wifi. Framura is an interesting and picturesque place part-way up a very steep hill, with narrow lanes and very steep steps connecting the various bits together, including the railway station on the coast. The free shuttle to and from Framura train station was brilliant, and it allowed easy access to surrounding towns.
