I went in October and it was quiet with not a whole to do here. The restaurant I dined at was pleasant and food was good, the staff were really nice and local people were friendly. The town didn't suit me, especially in a place like Sicily where there are so many beautiful places to visit. Enna looks stunning from the highway perched high on a plateau and the streets are nice to walk. But it's not worth a night in my opinion.Guest review byAndrewIreland - 10.0

From Lombardia's castle has panoramic view, Etna, Callascibetta, valley, Bassa Enna, old town. There is a supermarket near castle. Velvendere square is 10minutes from bus stop and 20min from bus station. Enna is a beautiful and historic city, in a spectacular hilltop location with stunning views. We found it a very friendly town, with very few tourists in March. It can be very cold even then, when windy, so pack warm clothes. Travellers visiting the centre of Sicily can spend an interesting day in Enna Alta. There are some wonderful panoramic views and the town has an interesting cathedral. I stayed in a very good B&B and there are good restaurants.Guest review byPaulBelgium

The owner offered to pick us up from the central bus station in Enna, Bassa for 10€ which turned out to be the best thing to do, walking up to the old town wasn’t a possible option!! Nicely equipped room that left no desired to be open, quiet area, the best views, shops are nearby, breakfast offered everything one needs. It was good to have a table in the kitchen/dining where four of us sat, enjoyed chatting and making plans, while sipping wine. Enna is a very good place to stay to visit Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Armelina. The kitchen is excellent, using mainly local ingredients, often sourced from their own land or nearby farmers. The homemade pasta, available every evening, is particularly noteworthy.
