Staf was great and helpful, cleaning staff was great and helpful also, the rooms were large and clean, there could be more amenyties like more pots and better glases, wine glases were OK other could be better, same goes for plates, there were no kitchen towels for drying the diahes, but this is just a recommendation that did not affect our stay. We have friends who live in Dervio and visit every few years. It is a charming town, has most necessary amenities (parks, restaurants, gas station, grocery store, our favorite pizza place) and is situated on Lake Como with a lovely walking path along the lake. It's not as hectic and crowded as many towns on the east coast of Lake Como. Dervio is a small quiet town with friendly people.
Dervio is a small quiet town with friendly people. Sail boating is very famous here and people from all over the world come here for that during the season. The restaurant Urban Fish by the lake is run by locals and is recommended. As we stayed in winter, we didn't expect to find so many restaurants closed in the evening. Fortunately we found one opened 30 minutes away driving. Quiet small town, good to relax or trekking. After we explored the area other cities around were also interesting and some prettier.
