We went to Bed & BIke expecting only a night to spend between places. Instead we found one of the most fantastic places ever, especially considering that I am an avid cyclist. Ours was a large and bright apartment, very clean, overlooking a beautiful bike store where among other things I was able to buy, at a discounted price, some spare parts for my ebike and that I recommend to all lovers of this sport. But what struck us was the quality of service, the size of the apartment, and especially the friendliness and professionalism with which we were greeted by Elisabetta, who runs the place, and with whom together with my wife have had long chats. Another peculiarity: breakfast is ordered the day before, choosing from an extensive menu (excellent cream brioche ordered from the bakery!!! Local cheeses, cold cuts, bread, fruit). All served at 7:30 am on a small table outside the room. The advice about dining experiences in Aulla given to us by Elisabetta also proved to be exceptional. I personally feel that this was my most pleasant B&B experience EVER. If I could, I would have given this B&B a rating of 20 out of 10!!! I can see why it boasts an enviable 9.7 on booking. If you don't like this place, you wouldn't even fit in heaven!

The house has everything you might need, the host is so kind and caring and really thought of everything: fully equiped kitchen, comfy bed, a washing machine. The view is stunning! Our 2 husky dogs were accepted without extra charges. I would give a 10 if only the road to the house was better...

We had so much fun here.. this is an accommodation where we could spend a whole vacation and not just a couple of days.. everything is arranged with taste, so clean, beautiful pools, great host, excellent breakfast, wonderful surroundings.. This is a character, restored, and ancient place. Be ready for Italian style, charm, warmth, and stairs. The shared breakfast room provides additional relaxation space and a balcony. All is beautifully appointed with vintage linen and crockery and tasteful, comfortable antique furniture. No spartan white surfaces here, and yet all is beautifully clean.

Castello Malaspina di Tresana it’s the best castle I’ve ever seen, even better than Dracula’s castle from Transylvania.Marianna was an amazing host ,she prepared for us a great breakfast and a fantastic cappuccino. We had the opportunity to visit the whole castle and to enjoy a glass of wine on one its terraces . I recommend you to book a room here and you won’t regret it.

    Aulla itself is not a very inspiring town BUT this is a wonderful apartment right along the Via Francigena. The hosts were helpful and have equipped the apartment with every detail one can think of to make guests' stays comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed comfortable. The apartment is spacious and there is a washing machine and a small balcony making it easy to machine-wash those dirty pilgrim/hiking clothes you have been wearing for days! Restaurants and supermarket nearby. Thank you for a nice stay!

    Great sheltered parking for motorbikes. Good size room which is more like a bedroom than a hotel room with lovely tiled floors and a very comfortable bed. There were mosquito nets on the window to allow the fresh air in. Lots of towels provided. Good WiFii. Long, leisurely, home cooked dinner with local produce and all served with explanations and details of the ingredients. The house red wine was very tasty too. A very good night's sleep as it was very dark. Breakfast was plentiful and consisted of regional produce.

    Where to start ? I was given the warmest of welcomes by Yiena and another lady (who later delivered pizza 🍕 and beer). I had a problem with my bike 🚲 , so my bike was left with the mechanic Davide. I had the best experience at this hotel/bike shop. The staff are molto gentile and the apartments are outstanding . Bed and bike - what a great 👍 idea ! Io sono grato to you all ! Grazie Mille Lee

    The room and bed were comfortable, and we were given a quiet room as requested. There is a good restaurant on site, with attentive staff. The breakfast was good. The hotel is conveniently located for walking the Via Francigena, as we were doing.

    We loved it here. They have very comfortable and clean rooms, the hotel looks nice from inside and outside. The staff is very friendly. The WIFI has a strong connection and is pretty fast. We liked it a lot.
