Everything! Could not fault it! The entire hotel is simply stunning! More beautiful in real life. Service and staff are remarkable. They went over and above! All were very friendly and helpful! The most charming place with beautiful rooms and views. Excellent breakfast and the most exceptional staff! Francesca went above and beyond to make our stay memorable :) They were thoughtful enough to even think of making dinner reservations for us at 13 Gobbi, which is also highly recommended by me. We would love to come back for another vacation at this magical place.

Everything! We wanted a day off from the long drive we were on back to the UK from Sicily and this hotel was the prefect choice. The rooftop pool with plenty of sunbeds was perfect for a relaxing afternoon in the sunshine. In the hotel, our room was big and comfortable and the fresh fruit in the bowl was a nice touch. As we have found during our numerous hotel stays, breakfast can be hit and miss, but here it was varied and plentiful and set us up for the day. Parking is always a concern for us, being in my own car and not just a hired one, and here the car park was free and safely underground, unlike some of the other places we've stayed where they've charged €20 or even €30 per night to park!! All in all, we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, and we hope to return when we do the journey again next year and stay a little longer. In particular, the manager was very friendly and hospitable, and I'd like to thank him for taking the time to explain about the barrel rolling festival in Montepulciano. We watched it together on TV in the lounge. Very interesting.

The room was basic butclean and not too small. The bed was comfortable. Good amount of towels available. The mini-fridge was greatly appreciated. friendly and helpful staff and decent breakfast.

    The location was tranquil being surrounded by vineyards but...

    The location was tranquil being surrounded by vineyards but you need to be aware that you need to drive a car to get around here which is fine but hard to find parking in and around Montepulciano as it is a large walled city which must be explored. You also have the option of dining in the restaurant downstairs for those who are concerned about returning back after dinner in the dark from Montepulciano on winding roads which can include a local dirt road, which we found a fun experience.

    We loved the location and the surroundings. We booked for wedding photos nearby, but even the hotel grounds itself was beautiful enough for us to snap up photos. Rooms were clean and modern, something we prefer, we trying countryside agriturismo rooms, but it was filled with bugs. Relais has double hlazing and additional netting to ensure mosquitoes and bugs were kept outside.
