We were for one night and the waitress in the dinner was exceptional, the breakfast next day was great, a lot of variety of food. the location was nice and comfy, nice place to see the boreal auroras.

The location was beautiful! The guesthouse had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable and clean. We stayed in one of the independent cottages and had a complete kitchen with oven (we cooked a frozen pizza one night!)check-in and check-out were contactless and the host emailed us specific check-in instructions a few days before. We would definitely stay here again!

The location was close to the Westman Islands, Seljalandsfoss, Skógafossm, and Katla Geopark. Eyjafjallajökull volcano is visible from the site. Close to grocery stores (Hvolsvöllur and Hella). Placed within one hour of Black Sand Beach (Reynisfjara) and the Vík village. The kitchen is by far the best we have seen in any of the Icelandic campgrounds.

Really charming place the tent was really nice and there is a central house where you can fix your own food and table and there are showers and bathrooms. I can imagine it might be really busy during peak season. It was very charming. Very nice place to stay. I definitely recommend dropping by the town pool spa. It was really refreshing.
