I’ve stayed here before and always thought the location was magical—the nearby church feels otherworldly! The bar is cozy and a perfect spot for a coffee or a drink, and the restaurant serves a truly delicious dinner. When I stayed a few years ago, I felt the rooms were just okay for the price. But this time, I tried one of the newly renovated rooms, and it was beyond my expectations. The design, comfort, and overall feel completely changed my experience—I went from liking this hotel to absolutely loving it. I highly recommend booking one of the renovated rooms. Hotel Búðir is a must stay if staying over on the peninsula.
Hotel Búðir is a must stay if staying over on the peninsula. We stayed for one night and it was a perfect stop after a long day. They have a happy hour in the lounge from 1600-1800 hours. Pleasant and helpful staff. Just do it!Guest review byJBOUnited States

The toilets in the old wing were really cramped and not in good condition. The hotel location the staff and hotel itself were really fab. We were told they had informed booking.com to update the pictures on the website. Apparently superior room is old wing and something else is new.
