It was a great little guest house, very cozy and well out into the country. The shared spaces were comfortable and it was nice to be away from the city for a night. Akranes is one of our favorite day trips from Reykjavík and there is lots to enjoy in that small town, this is a lovely place with great beaches, an amazing light house (singing or playing an instrument in the lighthouse is amazing! be sure to try it even if you don't sing well!) This was a very cozy stop.

Cosy rooms and very friendly staff. The view from our room into the harbor is very nice. The location is very central and perfect for exploring the city. All in all, it was a very nice stay.
