Exquisite lakeside property, beautifully looked after by the staff. Vinod and his team went to every length to make our stay magical. The food is very very good, home made tagliatelle with clams fished from the lake, fabulous curries and a different veg at every meal. Pool was lovely to swim in with the smell of frangipani wafting from the tree as I did my lengths. We saw otters playing by the jetty every day and fisherman going by or collecting sand. It is very peaceful and we didn’t end up leaving the property as it was such bliss

For me, it was all about the location. It felt like being Robinson Crusoe, right on the beach, with the waves crashing on the sandy shore—a true privilege. Stella, the host's mother, with her wholesome cooking, made me feel like a king in his beach residence. It was so humbling. I'm truly grateful to the hosts for this incredible experience. Thank you.

This place looks like paradise! We had an amazing stay, but sadly we had to leave too soon. The property was even more beautiful than expected, with high attention to details. Also, we had a good dinner with an amazing view on the lake. Highly recommended if you want to detox from the city and recharge your battery surrounding by quiet nature

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kondai Lip Heritage Resort, and I cannot speak highly enough about my experience as a solo woman traveler. From the moment I arrived, I felt safe and welcomed, which is essential for anyone traveling alone. The service at this resort is impeccable. The staff, including the boatman who greeted me upon arrival, were genuinely hospitable and attentive. The reception team made check-in effortless, and their warm smiles made me feel right at home. I also want to extend my gratitude to the accounting staff, who went above and beyond to assist me with my saree when I needed help. Their kindness and readiness to assist made all the difference. I also appreciated the janitorial staff, who maintained the premises impeccably and were always approachable if I had any questions or needed anything. Their attention to cleanliness and detail added to the overall pleasant atmosphere of the resort. The food at Kondai Lip Heritage Resort was outstanding! The chefs provided a delightful array of options, and I was pleasantly surprised by how frequently the staff would call my room to check if I needed to order dinner. This level of attention and care is truly commendable. Overall, my stay at Kondai Lip Heritage Resort was an enriching experience. The combination of excellent service, safety, and delicious food made my trip memorable. This place is very well maintained...Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Owner(Aunty). They were very welcoming and friendly. Home cooked food was yummy. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved it. I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again. Thank you for being a nice host.

We had a wonderful stay in Vaikom! The flat was excellent, spacious, super clean and very comfortable. The house itself is very nicely located nearby the water, one has a very nice view from the balcony. The hosts are very friendly, warm and extremely welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious!
