A very nice clean place with a nice roof top where you can practice yoga in thre morning. The staff, housekeeping, kitchen and reception, was so nice and helpfull Every day fresh water bottles and also a water heater in the room. Breakfast and also dinner were very delicious. Athena Hotel at Thiruvannamalai exceeded our expectations. IT was quite a high end hotel compared to what you get around in that area. Noise level was non-existent which really helps you sit and meditate or observe the scenery. The staff at the hotel is very accomodative to your requests and goes out of its way to help the guests right from checking in to booking an auto or taxi. Food was amazing. the restaurant prepared fresh food daily and based on crowd offered buffet vs. made to order dinner. Overall, very pleasant stay. Will come again.
