    Warmest reception by everyone in Lucknow and love the cuisine! They are famous for their embroidery called Ckikan Kari and we bought a few to wear and they are perfect for the warm weather as they are as light as clouds:)

    Limited sight-seeing but experiencing the city is worth a visit. Food is amazing - kebabs for non-vegetarians and chaat for vegetarians. Great shopping experience. Culturally active with plays, ghazals etc taking place live, keep an eye on www.bookmyshow.com for Lucknow during visit dates. Walking around the city for glimpses of living history such as Nawab's buildings still being used as railway station, government offices, colleges etc. Women may feel uncomfortable wearing sleeveless or shorts/short skirts

    Lucknow being one of the oldest City having rich heritage, culture and delecious food is worth exploring. The traditional cloth market at Hazratganj and Ameenabad is worth exploring. The food joints are simply amazing. This is a mixture of old traditional city with modern facilities. Gomti Nagar has vide roads, good cafe's and restaurant to be explored.
