Loved staying at this place! Front desk staff were so kind and helpful. We stayed there as part of our honeymoon, and they left chocolates and a lovely note for us. There is free laundry on site and a kitchenette inside of the room that was very convenient. The bed was comfortable and the TV and wifi worked well.

This hotel is in a great location for shops,restaurants, the luas, sight seeing The room was spacious , spotless and so comfortable Super comfy bed and pillows Excellent shower I cannot praise the staff enough .     There is a Good CarPark, but if you don't have a Car, you can hire a GoCar, or get one of the Many Public Buses. Dublin bus has the 24hr E1 service from Bray to Ballymun, through the City Centre, using the Stillorgan Road or the E2 from Dun Laoire to Finglas. Aircoach stops right outside. S6 to Blackrock and Tallaght Square.

    Stillorgan is predominantly a suburban, residential area so not really for tourists. However it is easily accessible to the city center by bus and also you can take a 15 minute or so walk to the Luas (light rail system) which also brings you to the city center or even Dundrum shopping center which has cinemas, restaurants and mini golf for those rainy days with the kids.

    Fabulous old hotel with lots of well preserved history.

    Fabulous old hotel with lots of well preserved history. Easy to reach from the N11 coming from the Motorway. Area is lovely and peaceful, had to stay there because of the nearby Embassy which is reachable by walking.

    The room was very run down and very old fashioned.

    The room was very run down and very old fashioned. Dont know how it has a 5 star rating. I've stayed in 4 star nicer and more modern than it. The noise level was crazy. People from a wedding going in and out if eachothers rooms through the night. We reported it by phone to the duty manager. He offered us a different room but that long into the night we just didn't want too. He also said there was no noise so it was like he was saying we were lying. Put at a drafty terrible table for dinner. Asked to be moved.told no and then witnessed other residents being moved when they asked could they. Will not return.

    Room was spacious, bed large and comfortable with table sofa and chair Large bathroom Tea and coffee facility. Breakfast was a self service buffet, but eggs were made to your specific wants, no vegetarian sausage but vegan sausage provided was really good. The Aircoach stop to and from airport right outside the hotel, Transport around Dublin is fantastic. Very happy and would use this hotel again.

    Location was appropriate for our needs on this trip. The free parking was also very good as we were driving and could park up and get the bus right outside the hotel. The staff were lovely specially the bar staff.
