The overall village look was lovely....but some of the pub standards were very poor and run down....I know this can add to a traditional feel but the Guinness in the pub was poor, as this is a tourist area, this needs to be much improved and the pub we ate in the service was good but overpriced completely....I thought Kinvara would have been better and I would certainly visit but would not need to stay for very long....I was expecting better but I appreciate everyone is trying to make a living and the season is almost over....Guest review byKarenIreland - 10.0

while renovated in a stylish modern fashion, the apartment...
while renovated in a stylish modern fashion, the apartment was cold. the gas fireplace was not operational. there were no reading lights. and the thick walled building, previously a hay barn, was damp… not good for anyone with arthritis. Kinvarra and the Burren were extraordinary, a visit of a lifetime.. fascinating archaeologically, ecologically and historically.. The castle was closed for its second year. the other issue was the Trident Homes management… the price changed, their website seemed in conflict with Booking.com, and there were multiple threatening messages about up to 500 euros in deposit for damages! Staff were friendly, breakfast was simple, but fine. Great value overall. If you're staying in Kinvara, make sure you check out Green's and Tully's - two fantastic pubs.
