Very small location, but very picturesque.

Very small location, but very picturesque. Ideally located to explore the surrounding area, including Clifden and Connemara National Park. Due to size of location only a small amount of local amenities but still very good quality.

The beauty and wilderness of Connemara is unsurpassed in all of our travels. Really allowed us to discover what Connaught had to offer. Was not lacking in any way, from coast to lowland and to mountains. Will never be forgotten!!

    Lovely town by the sea.

Lovely town by the sea. Beaches nearby and ferry options to Inishbofin. A few pubs to choose from and Oliver's a nice restaurant with seafood and other options. Food was lovely and staff were great. There is also a grocery shop beside it. Close to other attractions like Kylemore Abbey and Killary Fjord. Beautiful landscapes all around.

Cleggan is a nice fishing village but there is not a lot to do there, due to Covid I think one of the bars is not open and another is only open during the day we traveled into Clifden for better choice of restaurants

Perfect location, close to the best spots of Connemara. The farm itself has beautiful surroundings with private walks, hikes and its own beach. The views are fabulous around the farm. Very romantic setting in Cleggan countryside. So serene and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and generous with all supplies for the stay in private cottages, including comfortable bed, heating and hot water. The place is very clean. I would definitely book it again.

This is a very modern, well equipped and yet cosy apartment, close to many places of interest, Inishbofin ferry,( literally steps away!),Omey island, Kylemore Abbey, Cliften etc. and a few beaches. The area was very quiet, (we visited in early June) which we liked. Cleggan has a shop, pub and restaurant, all you want in a village. We were very happy with our host David, we knew if we needed anything he would be there .Highly recommend.

Paradise on earth😍 We loved everything about this cottage. Great owners, very helpful and nice. We received welcome, delicious scones. The venue is ideally situated to explore the Connemara Coast. Liam explained everything in detail about nearby attractions and places where you can eat well. At the end, the owners said goodbye to us very warmly and nicely. Really very good and caring people.🤗

The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Our host Tom was warm and welcoming and offered lots of suggestions. We particularly appreciated the store cupboard things such as oil, salt etc. Fabulous location and a short stroll down the quiet, back lane to Cleggan village.
