Beautiful property well maintained, gorgeous garden and pool area. Very good food. Great spa, therapists really know what they do, plus bonus of great fun with girls, love it. Most impressive is staff, each one of them, we felt so welcome and didn't feel like leaving. You can do alot in area by walking or just rent a scooter, property offeres cooking class, highly recommended... we loved location as it is not in center, so it is very peaceful but yet close to everyone you might need or want to see in Ubud . Don't hesitate, just book it!

I last visited Ubud in 2019.

I last visited Ubud in 2019. The traffic then was nothing like on this visit. As a pedestrian, I felt as if I was having to navigate an obstacle course along a narrow street. Ubud streets are not designed for the volume of traffic with which they are inundated every day now, much less the huge four-wheel drives and hordes (literally) of motor bikes and scooters. Yes, the shopping is excellent for the sheer variety of stuff available, if that's your thing.

Ubud is a fun and interesting place to visit but as everyone warns you THE TRAFFIC.....is terrible. We took over 1 hour to go 6km to dinner. Overall there is a lot to do and see but the time it takes puts you off compared to a quiet area like Nusa Dua which we prefer. We have no plans to return to Ubud as we went Quad Bike riding, saw the rice fields and the big swings and went to Bali Pulina to taste Luwak Coffee. There is really nothing else we wish to see or do and want to avoid the traffic every again!

Ubud has so much to offer. It’s great for those who love the outdoors, spas, wellness programs, woodworking, arts & crafts, jewelry making, coffee & tea, as well as beautiful rice fields, waterfalls, temples and of course the Monkey Forest.

Ubud is STUNNING! There is so much to see and do with loads of beautiful hidden gems! The traffic is bad and the best way to get around is via Moped. I would recommend try food at The Lair and Wedja.
