The setup was great for families with a kitchen and excellent AC. It was very clean and comfortable. Solid construction which meant it was quiet and blocked out the roosters and dogs for the most part. The pool was clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful and easily coordinated scooters and laundry. The grounds were beautiful and the villas were far enough apart to give a good level of privacy. The swing seat on the front port along with the fans were luxurious! Close to beautiful Lipah beach.

Had a great stay! The studio's are wonderful: beautifully decorated, brand new, super clean and with a beautiful view overlooking the ocean. The owners and staff were super friendly and helpful! Owners gave great tips for cafes, restaurants and snorkeling. Really good vibes in general, highly recommend!!

Just returned from an incredible stay at Salt, and I honestly don’t understand the negative reviews! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The facilities were fantastic – a stunning pool, great food, and a relaxing atmosphere that made it the perfect getaway. Breakfast had plenty of variety, and every meal we had was delicious. The location was ideal, with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. Some people just love to complain about the smallest things but we couldn’t fault our stay. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful hotel experience!

    Loved Amed but was only there for 2 nights, would definately go back for longer. Beautiful people and amazing local food. Great spot if you dont want the hussle and bussle of Kuta/Seminyak or Legian. The black beach was gorgeous and the sunsets were amazing, Great place for divers/snorkelling and fishing.

    Amed was lovely, found some great eating places that were really reasonable. Gusto, Galangal, Warranga Amed with live music and fabulous hosts, Sunset view restaurant )the lower key more traditional one) the other Sunset view was too upmarket and commercialised. We loved riding around on the scooters and felt it was quiet enough to feel safe. Really enjoyed getting up into the hills from there to see the rural lifestyles.

    Amed is one of my favourite places I have visited in Bali!

    Amed is one of my favourite places I have visited in Bali! I love that the reefs are right in front of the beach, you don’t need to take a boat or guide, just jump straight in to see so many fish and turtles! I went diving and I wish I stayed longer to explore more. The people are super kind and helpful. It is a little hard to get around though since there are no Grabs. If you can learn, it’s best to rent a bike. But other than that, take your time to explore Amed!

    Amed is nice but if you don’t have a scooter or your own...

    Amed is nice but if you don’t have a scooter or your own transport, expect to pay high prices for transport compared to other parts of Bali. Also people there seem a bit sad and not as friendly and happy as other parts of Bali. The beach is nice and the place is very quiet and not overcrowded, which is great but if you are looking for that lovely Balinese culture and hospitality, you might struggle to find it here.

    I went to Amed to learn Free Diving.

    I went to Amed to learn Free Diving. Its 3 hour from Bali airport by car. a nice small village. Many good restaurants and Massage Places and Yoga Places. No Shopping just enjoy the beach. Can rent a scooter or use taxi to get around Amed. The beach has coral and fishes and turtles. The water is dark blue and the sand is nearly black .

    Perfect place for relax, snorkeling and sunsets with view of Mount Agung. Good start point for visiting Pura Lempuyang, rice fields, Tirta Gangga, Taman Ujang and Virgin Beach. Traffic in area is limited so it is perfect region for scooter driving. Not the best place for shopping and finding souvenirs.

    The view of Mount Agung from our room was incredible. We were in the quieter part of Amed in Purwakerti, away from the hustle and bustle but still within walking distance to the beach, the convenience store, and eateries. Pak Komang and Ibu Puyu are great hosts. We had an issue with our car and he got it sorted. Nice breakfast. Our gluten-free dairy-free option was delicious Balinese fried rice with fresh fruits and hot tea.

    Comeon was the best homestay on Bali for now, the room was spacious and clean, bathroom large and the garden beautiful. Bed has mosquito net and one can use the fridge. It's in a side street so its quiet, but its 5 minutes walk to the beach and amazing Warung for food. The hosts are so friendly and we got only good advice from them (where to hike, the conditions for snorkeling). We would love to come back!!

Food and drinks also lovely (expected hotel prices after reading reviews and well because... we were in a hotel!) Shuttle that takes you up to the lodge is timely We stayed in 6 locations in Bali and this was both of our favourite places
