Everything about this place is breathtaking. Except for one thing: the sheer number of tourists. That's why it's worth sleeping there to enjoy the place late at night and especially in the morning. Trogir was a great base for us.
Trogir was a great base for us. We loved the old town and there are many excellent beaches on Ciovo. We could access Spilt very easily by boat and bus. Restaurants were excellent but quite expensive. Smaller yet compact old city center where you will find...
Smaller yet compact old city center where you will find everything you need just in few steps. Big grocery store just next to the bus station, big outdoor market place, fish market, promedande, countless number of restaurants, public transport and several beaches. I have to say it's still not very standard to have swimming polo in croatia as part of accomodation, I mean when you don't go to a hotel. Do this was very much positive. Very nice and helpful owner Ms. Nada. We took a walking tour, a boat ride to the Blue Cave and a bus to Split. Trogir is far quieter than Split (not party city, if that's what you want) but still has everything you want/need.
