The reception desk is located at the Sahara hotel, after the check-in you are given instructions about the whereabouts of your hotel building and, of course, the key to your room. Mine was on the ground floor with a comfy bed and a very clean bathroom that also smelled nice. I believe all rooms are equipped with AC. The restaurant is a one- or a two-minute walk from the hotel buildings and you just need to say your room number to the front desk officer. It can accommodate a substantial number of guests at any given time, there are also places at the balcony with a nice view of the bay. Food is quite diverse, so everyone will find something that suits them. I always tried to leave some space in the stomach for double desserts ;). The location of the resort is superb, very peaceful and in harmony with nature.

Very clean, close to everything, no car is needed during the stay, beach is in 2 min by walk. Neighborhood is still and safety. Wonderful view to the sea, comfortable terrace. Owner is kind and helpful. Booked 3 apartments,, visited with big family, from 2 to 69 years old, everyone was satisfied and spent an amazing 5 days there, at the end of June. Sea is sandy and warm, children loved it.

We loved our apartment. It was our first trip as a family (we have a 3 months old baby) and everything went smooth. Also we were traveling with our dog which has been well accepted. The apartment had everything we needed and it was super clean when we checked in. We enjoyed our little terrace especially for breakfast time and after dinner. The apartment is very close to the beach - for families we recommend Livačina! The host is adorable! We will come back!

    Beautiful island of Rab, lopar is a great hiking and beaching part of the island. There are trails you can follow to all 20 + beaches. Get lost in the woodland a bit too. Such amazing landscape, and fun climbing. The water and beaches are magnificent here xx

    A cool place for people who want a sandy beach like in Italy...

    A cool place for people who want a sandy beach like in Italy + a safe sea without the urchins but at the same time a crystal clear waters so typical for Croatia with many possibilities of snorkeling once you use paddleboard and go a bit further from the coast (about 500m is sufficient) It was also a green island with many pine trees giving enough shade in many beaches + making great sceneries. Many possibilities for hiking, too.

    Lopar is a very nice place for families with kids younger...

    Lopar is a very nice place for families with kids younger than 10 years, starting from baby age due to the shallow and warm water, the sandy beach and the lively but still calm village. I would recommend Lopar to stay for 1-2 weeks maximum, as you can travel around Rab island within this time and see all its attractions. Also recommend the Glass boat catamaran trip to nearby islands, renting a jetski is also fun, and you can visit many other beaches including Suha Punta for swimming.

    Lopar is a beautiful island, it has 2 sand beaches.

    Lopar is a beautiful island, it has 2 sand beaches. The owner of the stores in the plein next to the beach were not friendly to the customers, they just tell how much it cost with no smile, as that they "hated" the people who are able to go for a vacation. I feel that they are not attractive to the tourism industry, which they should. They should cooperate with the government to build their tourism industry with being attractive : "smile and friendliness". Different when I went to the Rab city centre, all the store owners were very friendly, they say "Hi" they welcoming the customers, they were not angry if the customers only just looked around. Anyway, the question is : do I want to go back to Lopar? Yes, definitely. Lopar has beautiful beaches, the water is clear, my kids love to snorkeling. The food are delicious.

    Rajska beach is the best beach for children in all of...

    Rajska beach is the best beach for children in all of Croatia. However, in July and August it is crowded (like all other places). There are plenty of entertainment options. The sand is fine - on the beach and also when entering the water (even about 100 m from the beach towards the sea), the water is clean without seaweed. Children can play in the water without any worries. Lopar offers everything like any other resort - shops, restaurants, nightlife, attractions for children and adults.

    The most welcoming and friendly hosts. The house was clean, fully equipped (we cooked every day), enough hot water for everyone. It's a nice walking distance from the beach (10min on your own, anything between 15-30 min with kids :)). We actually liked the walk so we all moved a bit. Very spacious terrace, especially great for a stay with kids.

    Close to beach (7 min walk), great parking place under the roof, garden great for children (playground, bit of shadow at lunchtime) and also for evening rest outside the apartment. Apartment looked good, was equipped with basic stuff that is fine for summer holidays. Cooking was not a problem. Ideal place for family with small kids.

    We really liked it and the kids really enjoyed it. It is really comfortable as there is AC available. Beds are comfortable too. Kitchen is fully equipped. Very close to beach and stores. I would definitely recommend it, it was very nice experience of accommodation.
