Minoa Hotel totally exceeded our expectations. When booking a room for 4 we were ready to be accommodated to a single room, but actually we got two connected rooms. The other thing was that we did not dare to think that the hotel main entrance is literally opening to a beach and you will be in a water after 10 steps and the dock, where you can sunbath, is a mere 15-20 meters away. All the rooms seemed to be with a sea-view (at least our was and i did not spot rooms opening to the inland direction). The breakfast was good and hosting staff was very friendly. We had only had earlier beach holiday experience in the end of June/beginning of July in Italy and we were a bit afraid that there might be the same vibe (overcrowded and very noisy), but actually it was quite the opposite. There was plenty of space throughout the day on the beach strip and also on the dock facing the hotel entrance (we were visiting Tolo 20-22 of June) and the atmosphere was rather quiet-relaxing. There were several good restaurants on the beach-side only a short walk away. As well, it was possible to rent a small motor boat for some hours to go and check out the neighbouring island and landscapes.

The hotel is right in the centre strip. So close to the beach. Its a 5 minute walk to the beach. I was traveling with my daughter and we had a beach view. There was lots of options for breakfast. The hotel staff were amazing. There aways cleaning. I would come hear again.

Extremely helpful and kind staff. We had a little problem with the bath tube: not only they fixed it in no time, but they also offered us free breakfast and late check out to compensate for it! Very friendly staff, provided us with many tips and information. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

Perfect, it looks better than in the photos. The host was very helpful, and showed us interesting beaches, bars and restaurants in the area. The beach is just across the street. The parking was great, safe, has enough space with a lot of shades.

    A very nice seaside town in Greece.

    A very nice seaside town in Greece. Easily accessible by car, about 2.5 hrs from Athens or 1hr 45 minutes from Piraeus. People in Tolo are the most helpful and kind I have met in my travels. Nice tavernas by the sea, try "Romvi" (pronounced Ro-m-vee), good quality and prices. It is no more than 5 feet away from the sea (there is a photo somewhere in my review).

    Really decent town to stay at.

    Really decent town to stay at. The beaches are sandy with shingle parts as you enter the beach. Mostly free of rocks and plenty of sun beds and cover. Plenty of hotels / restaurants directly onto the beach and numerous shops for all that you need. It is a fair drive from Athens, 2+ hours but worth it all the same as there are beaches everywhere (some full shingle, some rocky but there are places everywhere to chill out and be alone if that is your thing. All in all, we'd definitely go back if we weren't the kind that likes to go to different locations.

    Tolo is a strip of excellent shops and tavernas parallel to the beach. We found it very convenient and all within walking distance from our hotel. We found the best place to eat was Marinos which is a little away from the beach, but there were other excellent places to eat near the beach. We particularly enjoyed our boat trip to Hydra and Spetses. The bigger town of Nafplio had some excellent museums and shops.

    We had bigger expertasions but god dissapointed. Tolo is nothing but soveniers, cafe/tavernas, bars, icecreme shops - but everything is old and needes renovation. Tolo is great for a party vacation, I guess!
