Very cozy hotel in what is likely the best location in Almyrida. The rooms are very clean and well-equipped. The late checkout facilities are especially good, and the staff is very very helpful. María is a very friendly ,kind and welcoming person. Make you feel at home. The apartments are confortable and with all what you need to enjoy your stay in Kalives. Since few years i stay there when i come to Crete. Nice atmosphere,beautifull enjoyable garden just steps from the beach, the sound of the sea, the calm área and short walk to centre of the town...short nice walk to many shops, minimarkets,bakery,butcher, pharmacy, tavernas, and anything you need...just in front there's a main supermarket which is very practical...great place!

Sofia has a cute property in Kalyves, very easy to find and well located to visit both the village and to travel to other destinations in the island. On top of that is walking distance from the beach in Kalyves (5 min away at most, I would say less). The rooms are spot on and Sofia made sure they stood very clean throughout the visit. The rooms are very nice, and they have a balcony area to stretch out and perhaps have dinner or breakfast outside (fully recommended). Finally, Sofia is a super-host, she was very kind to us all the time but, the last day of our visit she went above and beyond the call of duty. Our daughter got sick just when it was time to leave and Sofia made sure she could leave feeling better, she even came up, after realizing that our daughter had a fever, with pediatric analgesic and careful worked out instructions to dose her correctly according to weight. I cannot stress enough that she made us feel almost like being at home. We will certainly be back here if we visit the island again.

We stayed for 8 nights and this property was ideal. Fantastic location. Kitchen had everything and more than needed, even had coffee machine and toastie maker. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
