The 2 managers Marilena and Alexandra are absolutely wonderful people, very attentive to the customer. On our arrival, and even though we were well before check-in time, the room keys were given to us immediately and better than that, a meal offered at the hotel restaurant at the same time Moreover, as it was my birthday, in the afternoon, returning to our room, we had the very pleasant surprise to find that a fantastic and superb chocolate cake accompanied by a bucket of ice cubes with 2 small bottles of rosé champagne and their flutes, had been left in our room As for the equipment, only Happiness on all floors Marilena, Alexandra, your quality of services deserves to be known by those around us who we will ensure to inform, for our part, we are now planning to come back and stay in your beautiful establishment with all our consideration, be well for now, see you soon Béatrice and Jean-Claude / France

Sunset Apartments is a sweet gem of very comfortable rooms staffed by incredibly helpful people. Our apartment had a patio overlooking orange and olive trees. They are located conveniently close to the airport so there was some intermittent airplane noise—which didn’t interfere with getting a good night’s sleep.

The accomodation far exceeded my expectations. The shuttle from the airport was easy and fast. The lady on the reception was super kind, gave us a warm welcome. The room was extremly clear and well equipped. You can get to the beach easily, if you like to walk and take a look around like us it will take you 40mins, but if you want to get there as soon as possible bus is an easy option or you can get a free shuttle with return by a local taverna (just drink a coffee at least there when you arrive) The garden is cozy and chill, we spent a nice evening there with a wine, just be sure to have some mosquito repellent and you will be fine ;) And finally, yes the return to the airport will cost you 25€ if you don’t want to book a taxi by yourself, but it is not a hidden information! They inform you about this at least 3 times before you check-in. We asked for the taxi and it was super accurate. 7:30 in the morning, he was there 5 mins earlier.

Everything, we weren’t there long as we had to catch an early morning flight. Would have loved to stay longer, such a beautiful apartment. Had everything anyone would need and a huge patio to relax on. Had a basket of goodies, so thoughtful and much appreciated! Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay.

    Very quiet place to rest after your cruise! Even the taxi drivers were having difficulty finding the hotel. Unfortunately we won't be visiting again ! Absolutely would not recommend it if you want a fun packed holiday with great quality food and drink !

    Lovely hotel and very clean. Breakfast very good. The pool area and gardens were lovely. The only downside was there were a few people / families around the pool that were not guests taking up sun beds. Overall excellent hotel with a few restaurants within easy walk.

    Very small town but good selection of bars, restaurants and hotels. Always the sound of the sea gently lapping the shore. A short walk out of town takes you to a smart restaurant called Samia and a lovely rustic Greek taverna serving fresh fish and both right by the sea.

    We were welcomed with a smile and warm greetings. Informed us of the times food would be served, for evening and breakfast, asked if we needed anything, if so please ask. Helpful with directions to local restaurants. The hotel was super clean and fresh, our room had good view of the sea, clean, bed was comfortable.

    Quiet local area with a couple of places to eat out.

    Quiet local area with a couple of places to eat out. Good food and a small local shop. The hotel is around 40 minutes to Athens town, taxi's are between 35 to 40€. 48€ if you book through the hotel. Local bus is hourly but to get to Athens you'd need to change and then get a train. We only went into Athens for one day via taxi and crammed everything in. If you book a return taxi it's cheaper. Athens Site-seeing, markets and local shops are fabulous. We walked around Mati but it's in the suburbs so no site-seeing. but our holiday was to relax and Mati hotel was perfect for that. We'd go again.

    We liked the pool and beach view from our room.

    We liked the pool and beach view from our room. We liked the outdoor dining option overlooking the beautiful Aegean Sea and good waiter service. We really liked our early morning swim in the lovely warm sea, on our last day in Greece before the long flight back to Australia. That was a highlight. I would recommend Mati as a relaxing option outside of the hectic city centre of Athens. I wished we’d stayed there longer.

    Kirsten is very kind, she offered me a ride to a nearby city so I could explore the are as much as possible and gave many useful tips. The place was clean and you can buy water, beer or something small for breakfast in there. It was a very pleasant stay.
