It was an amazing experience. The room was amazing and so was the host (Kirsten). The stay is in close proximity to the beach which would be ideal incase one prefers to stay multiple days. Rafina Port is a 10 min ride away and the taxi would cost roughly 7 euros.

This apartement is well equiped and the free navette services proposed to the airport and to a restaurant are really very convenient. The staff is fantastic and extremely helpful. They also proposed a free deliver of meals that we have used for the breakfast. The restaurant for wich we had a free transfer is excellent with a big choice of delicious traditional Greek dishes and just in front of a beautiful beach. We had 2 very relaxing days in this apartment.

    Very quiet place to rest after your cruise! Even the taxi drivers were having difficulty finding the hotel. Unfortunately we won't be visiting again ! Absolutely would not recommend it if you want a fun packed holiday with great quality food and drink !

    Lovely hotel and very clean. Breakfast very good. The pool area and gardens were lovely. The only downside was there were a few people / families around the pool that were not guests taking up sun beds. Overall excellent hotel with a few restaurants within easy walk.

    Very small town but good selection of bars, restaurants and hotels. Always the sound of the sea gently lapping the shore. A short walk out of town takes you to a smart restaurant called Samia and a lovely rustic Greek taverna serving fresh fish and both right by the sea.

    We were welcomed with a smile and warm greetings. Informed us of the times food would be served, for evening and breakfast, asked if we needed anything, if so please ask. Helpful with directions to local restaurants. The hotel was super clean and fresh, our room had good view of the sea, clean, bed was comfortable.

    Quiet local area with a couple of places to eat out.

    Quiet local area with a couple of places to eat out. Good food and a small local shop. The hotel is around 40 minutes to Athens town, taxi's are between 35 to 40€. 48€ if you book through the hotel. Local bus is hourly but to get to Athens you'd need to change and then get a train. We only went into Athens for one day via taxi and crammed everything in. If you book a return taxi it's cheaper. Athens Site-seeing, markets and local shops are fabulous. We walked around Mati but it's in the suburbs so no site-seeing. but our holiday was to relax and Mati hotel was perfect for that. We'd go again.

    We liked the pool and beach view from our room.

    We liked the pool and beach view from our room. We liked the outdoor dining option overlooking the beautiful Aegean Sea and good waiter service. We really liked our early morning swim in the lovely warm sea, on our last day in Greece before the long flight back to Australia. That was a highlight. I would recommend Mati as a relaxing option outside of the hectic city centre of Athens. I wished we’d stayed there longer.

    What a fantastic hotel,the furniture was amazing.The colour scheme in the bedroom was beautiful, great attention to detail. Super king sized bed.Great pool & they supply pool towels. Food in both snack bar & dining room was superb.The staff were so friendly & helpful.We arrived early & were able to check in. We only stayed for 3 nights to catch our flight home but would loved to have stayed longer.Would highly recommend Mati hotel.

    The best hotel near Athens. I'm not exaggerating at all because I'm a really demanding customer. Everything was great!! The hotel is perfectly renovated. Beautiful view from the room. And of course incredibly nice staff who always help with a smile. You should order your stay with breakfast. They are fantastic. I recommend this hotel to all travelers :-)

    The staff is very kind and positive. It is located on the seashore and the hotel also has a swimming pool. Breakfast very good. On the last day we had an early check out and even then we were able to get a small breakfast which was very good and nice . Good location from Athens airport 20-30 min. Delicious cocktails at the bar.
