I adore Lindos and have been visiting for many years. The people are lovely and the place is a foodies delight. The beaches are lovely and safe for children, as no tides. Lindos was beautiful, with a very pretty bay, and a lovely old town. The sun shone every day and it was lovely and warm. When we arrived in September the beach was very busy.....so we found a spot the other side of the pier where we could get a sun bed and it was next to a lovely beach restaurant called Skala. We ate there a couple of times and i can recommend the Sea bass, it was delicious and so fresh. The sea is beautiful and blue with little fishes swimming around and mostly sand until quite far out, so safe for the elderly and little ones. We ate out in the old town at a restaurant called Dionysos and the food is excellent.....highly recommend. We found Lindos to be very busy, but seems to be the norm now. It was very steep in parts and lots of steps, so some people would struggle. We liked it as we felt it kept us fit. There is another beach which was very near called St Paul's bay, beautiful with lovely shallow water, but again very busy. There is also a Castle that you can walk up to, that again is a bit of a steep walk and I think it cost 20Euros to go in and look around.Guest review byYvonneUnited Kingdom - 10

Lindos is a fantastic town full of lovely restaurants, bars and tavernas. You have a choice of 4 beaches within two natural harbours. I like to rent a self catering apartment and just buy my food locally or simply just go to one of the local restaurants. Lindos village was lovely, with everything in a smallish area so all restaurants and bars etc really close by and lots to choose from. Travelling slightly further afield was easy also with taxis available from the main square and a good selection of buses from the main road. There was a choice of two bays with beaches where there were sunbeds to hire for the day and also some good restaurants. We got a taxi everyday to Lindos Town as there was nothing in the area of the hotel regarding bars/shops/restaurants. A shuttle bus provided multiple times a day from the Hotel would be better considering the price we paid. The location is the best you can get in Lindos, so close to the beach but right at the outskirt of the busy picturesque town, easy to get around on foot everywhere. The staff were super friendly and caring which made my stay as a solo traveller much nicer having the staff to chat to every morning and evening. Lovely people. The room was very clean and had what you’d expect. We needed an iron as we were off to a wedding. We told the owners there was one on the room waiting. Our son (2yo) found so many things to do (playground, indoor playroom, pool area)! After we changed the location to Rhodes, he kept talking about Lindos hotel and wanted to go play there.
